I was not a fan of this product. Of course I didn't hold the name "skin clearing" with a lot of stock. But I was hoping it wouldn't be as oily as neutrogena healthy skin. I used it a few times and it actually made me break out more. I continued with healthy skin instead but I got rid of this product as soon as possible.
The first foundation I've liked a lot..
Before trying this out, I was using Covergirl's NatureLuxe foundation on a daily basis. I'm not sure I'm going to go back. I have dry, patchy, and rough skin, but this smoothed over nicely. I'm also extremely acne-prone--not a day has gone by since the 6th grade without me having at least a few zits. I wouldn't say this foundation worsened anything, but I'm not sure if it's doing anything to help, either. This is a medium to /almost/ full coverage, but definitely not complete coverage. I can get away with just this and no concealer, if my skin's being nice. As far as I can tell, this doesn't get cakey unless you don't apply a TON, so I'm not sure if this foundation is ideal for layering. This is only my second foundation ever, but I'll probably repurchase :D
Nice coverage and doesn't dry out my skin!
I loved the idea of this foundation when I first heard about it. I don't suffer from horrible acne, but I do get the occasional pimple now and then, My skin also tends to be on the dry side, so: Pros: The coverage is just right for me, it isn't too sheer or too cakey. The color I have matches my skin perfectly. It has not broken me out since I've started using it, and when I've used it to cover up pimples it hasn't made them worse. And best of all it hasn't dried out my skin, which I was afraid it might because of the acne medicine in it. Cons: I HATE that it doesn't have a pump. There isn't a very wide range of colors. And it's a little bit pricey, but I got it on sale at Target. So I would definitely say I like this product, but I might try something else out when this is all gone.
