Feels natural and smooth to the touch!
I bought mine at Walmart for about $13, which I think is pricey for a foundation this small. I have Neutrogena Skin Care products for acne and blemishes, but I never have tried their makeup products, so this is a first for me. I don't like the fact there isnt a pump, because I think its more sanitary and convenient that way, so you don't waste so much product. I like that is doesnt streak and I don't need primer with this, so it doesnt dry all chalky like. It gives me a medium coverage, and I like that it feels natural like, like there's nothing on my face! I bought this product because I saw it on a youtube gurus video saying it cleared quite a few of her acne, so I wanted to try it to see if it targets any of my random breakouts. I have tried it for a few days and I started noticing breakouts near my jaw, which I have NEVER experienced. But it hasnt broken me out as bad as maybelline's dream smooth mousse foundation. I got mine in Honey beige, as usual, and it matches my skin tone well, which is a huge plus for me since I have a very hard time in committing with other brands of foundations and try to find my shade lol. All in all, I like this product, besides the fact that it broke me out just a smidge. :P
Originally loved but had to UPDATE/Helped w/Breakouts but not long lasting
Ok so yes I was very skeptical after bouncing back and forth from foundation to foundation. My oily, acne prone, skin is slightly oily to super oily depending on my cycle, grrrrrr. I wanted to look dewy fresh instead of like a dry sheet of paper WITH full coverage. Geez is that too much for a lady to ask for?! I was drawn to this foundation simply because of it's magic ingredient, salicylic acid which is an everyday must have for me!!! This foundation gave me great coverage & sure did decrease my breakouts and the super oil slicks I usually get mid day. I just have to touch up once or twice w/my ELF Shine Eraser blotting sheets. So yes ladies, even us with oily skin can have it all!!! Happy blotting!!
July 2012 Update- Although I really wanted to continue using this foundation, I had to move on to a longer lasting one. This Neutrogena one did decrease my breakouts, but on some days more than others it literally began vanishing. Literally I'd check my makeup early afternoon and even after setting it,not rubbing it, and my cheek not being an actual oily spot on my face IT WAS GONE. I am currently using the Revlon Colorstay for oily to combination skin and even in the 100+ weather here in deep south texas, I'm set.
