Illuminator

I got this and the nars highlighting powder in albatross, and I have to say it's a close fight over which is better, but the powder wins by a hair. This is more dewy looking (making it a must for those with dry skin and those who like the dewy look, and since I have oily skin, it's difficult but not unworkable) and better for a no makeup makeup look, but being a liquid, it is slightly harder to work with and easy to overdo. Once you get past the learning curve, though, it's absolutely lovely.

AWSOME<3 love how natural it looks and how easy it is to use, definitely the best highlighter ive ever used! I even mix in in to my foundation to give me an extra glow when im not in the mood to highlight and contour. one of my fave Nars products:)

I love this! I've just recently ventured into highlighting my face, and I got a sample of the NARS Illuminator. This works great! It gives the perfect glow to the skin without looking at all shimmery. By the end of the day I don't notice any shimmer particles traveling in areas it isn't supposed to. It really sinks into my skin. This shade works great with my fair skin too. I thought it was too pink, but it blending into no color pigmentation, just shine. I'll be using this all summer.

I put this on my high points before i put my foundation on, and it's AMAZING! Gives me the perfect dewy-looking finish and doesn't make your skin look completely oily. Only complaint I have is that about 4-5 hours after wearing this my skin doesn't have the same effect it did right after I put it on. But overall, I will be re-purchasing this!

It is perfect for giving just a little bit of light to the face and it does an amazing job of keeping me looking awake rather than zombie-like. I mix it in with my foundation or use a stippling brush to apply a little to my cheek bones or all over my face. love this product. I love alot of Nars products, but if you're looking for a multi purpose highlighter this one is fabulous. I have used it to highlight my cheekbones & it gives a healthy radiant glow... not sparkly but a sheer radiance. I also use it on my eyes & under the browbone. My new favorite spot to use it is in the center bow above the lips... a very pouty look! and it looks great when mixed with a liquid bronzer... a real sun kissed look! one of the best all around products I use!!!

I'm a freak for Nars products and I really did want to love this. People have raved about the Illuminators, particularly Copacabana for its versatility, so I picked it up a few weeks ago when I stopped in Sephora. Now when I swatch it on my hand it looks amazing. The shimmer is dramatic, but soft and not full of chunky glitter particles and it's a very long-wearing product. But when I use it as a highlight on my face or my eyes it's not just a nice glow anymore...it's a very cool toned pink shimmer. I look sick no matter how little product I apply. I'm quite disappointed that I can't wear it because I really don't want to return it. Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll come out with a pale golden pearl shade that I'll be able t o exchange for. I just can't work with the cool pink tones in this :(
