Eye Studio Color Tattoo

This is a stupendous eye shadow base. Dust your lids with loose or pressed face powder before applying, & the tackiness of the cream clings to powder shadows. A small dab in the inner corners and on the arch of the brow bone go a long way.

I just recently discovered the 24 hour Maybelline Color Tattoos & I am in love. I have a few paint pots by MAC and noticed that Bare Study by MAC was similar to Maybelline’s Barely Branded. I liked Maybelline’s color better bc it was less shimmery and much easier to apply without creasing. I hardly use MAC’s Paint pots anymore bc I find them to be a bit greasy. I personally think Maybelline’s color tattoos are much better & better yet affordable. MAC’s paint pots go for $20 & Maybelline’s Color Tattoos go for $5-$7 depending where you buy them. What do you think?

This is literally my favorite base for everyday wear! If you're thinking about buying, DO IT! It's super inexpensive and great quality. Any color is good, but barely branded is my favorite.

At first glance this cream eyeshadow may seem average and boring but on the lids it looks amazing! It has the perfect amount of shimmer to put all over the lids and to use as a inner corner highlight. Definitely looking forward to wear this in the hot humid summer weather since this is basically waterproof and lasts all day hence the 24 hour label. Since this is not limited edition, I recommend everyone to pick this up!

This makes makeup effortless! You just glide some on your eyelids and thats all. This color looks great underneath shadows as well, which is a definite plus! I love how simple this is. Plus, its really creamy and lasts FOREVER. By the time I take my makeup off at night, this still looks the same as when I first applied it. I will most definitely be repurchasing!

This is the first of the five Metallics I was able to get my hands on, and I must say I'm on the fence about it. It's a really pretty color but I find myself having to sheer it out and use it more as a base for other eyeshadows because it's so intensely light. It's not so starkly white as Too Cool, but it's about just as frosty, so I tend to use this more as a highlighter for the inner corners of my eyes, the middle of my eyelid, and on my brow bone. It's definitely more of an eye brightener than an eyeshadow as far as I've used it. Bad to the Bronze suits my skintone much better, but Barely Beige may be a great neutral shadow for those with naturally pale skin.

I have always been drawn to shadows this color (like UD Sin, MAC Jest, etc.) I have pale skin and blue eyes, and pale peachy pinky golds are always the easiest for me to pull off. Barely Branded is in the same vein, I don't find it to be over the top metallic, but more of a pearly finish. I can wear it alone, or with shadow over the top. On my somewhat oily lids it lasts at least 10 hours. I think that Maybelline might have tweaked the formula slightly, because Barely Branded is much easier to spread/blend than some of the original Color Tattoos.

I use my fingers to apply this cream eyeshadow. I also have tough as taupe and I really like it! This eyeshadow is amazing and I wear Barely Branded to school everyday to give my eyelids a little pop! since I have oily eyelids it does crease after a few hours which is sad. :( I would recommend applying an eyelid primer to prevent creasing from oily eyelids! It also helps my other eyeshadows that I apply on top from creasing! I am probably going to buy some more soon since I really like this product and only had one issue with it! The price is pretty good for this product because I feel the quality is splendid. I would recommend this to anyone!

These are so easy to use and I love the two colors I purchased (barely branded and inked in pink). Barely branded is a great almost champaign color that's not too over the top. I wear it as a base or just by itself. I just got inked in pink and its a gorgeous pale pink that's also not over the top. I'm sure you could layer it for a more dramatic look but I love the slightly more than subtle look it gives! I don't have oily lids and it stays just fine for me though I have admittedly not worn it longer than maybe 6-8 hours. Overall, I'm loving this stuff!
