Back to basics
i would recommend this foundation for any beginner who wants medium to full coverage. Ive been using this foundation on and off ever since it first came out. I purchased this years ago(2008-2009) because it was the only foundation that had a very easy to use "match your foundation chart". I love to try all the latest foundations, but when would be stuck with a foundation that i end up falling out of love real quick, i just reach for this gem and then realize why i still repurchase it all the time. the range of colors are amazing. i always find myself jumping from N3-4 to W5-6 when my complexion is tan. mixing these foundations are even more better! for people for need more hydration used the Lumi true match. also amazing!!
it's ok
pros : medium to full coverage, good color selection, satin finish, doesn't cling to dry patches. cons: not long wearing, definitely needs a setting powder, touchups with powder or blotting sheets or it will look oily through out the day. overall: good for everyday use but not good for an event or night out.
Dupe to MAC Studio Fix Fluid!
My Skin: -Yellow/Beige undertone -Normal/Dry -Acne Scars -Large pores -Redness -Spider veins on Jawline Shade Comparison: NC37 in MAC
One of my drugstore must haves! Now If your on a budget but love High end makeup quality! This is a dupe ! I've used this foundation for so long now and compared it to MAC Studio Fix Fluid, its Exactly the same! My shade is w6 and W5 is for where I would highlight! Covers my flaws, but its not heavy, it feels lightweight on my skin. Coverage depends on how you apply foundation. Good for any skin type bc the finish is semi matte!
Application: love it with a buffer brush for full coverage, for a light to medium I use a beauty blender/ Stippling brush
LOVE!
After reading a few reviews on this foundation I decided to give it a try. I wear an NC35 in MAC and found that the True Match W6 shade was closest to my skin tone. It's perfect! This needs to be applied with a stipple brush for that flawless look. It's not heavy, I don't feel like I'm wearing make up at all! It does not crease, and it has great coverage. Definitely worth a try and of course a lot more reasonable than MAC. I also have been using this with the BB cream.
WINNER.
I love this foundation. It is my go to pick when I am getting ready in the morning and I am running a few minutes behind and I really need to get my skin looking awake. It provides great coverage for the girl who has a blemish here or there but gives this really nice dewy kind of natural skin look. I apply it with my fingertips and it blends right into my skin effortlessly. There are SO many colors to choose from. I have more of a yellow undertone to my skin so the warm shades provide a great selection. I enjoy this stuff and I think you would too.
GIORGIO ARMANI LUMINOUS SILK FOUNDATION DUPEEEE
this foundation is GREAT! i love it :) i recently purchased it and am in love with it <3 i dab it on all over my face and blend blend blend with my kabuki brush. i use it in my drugstore foundation routine video and its amazing xoxo con: no pump
I love this! It's suuuuuuper blendable! Sun Beige is a tad too little dark for me, but once blended out - it totally works and blends into the color of your skin! It's lightweight and it's super smooth, it applies like a dream with your fingers!
Medium-full coverage: definitely buildable! And lasts all day for me!
Only downfall is that it doesn't have a pump! :(
Note: I have normal to dry skin so not sure how it is for combo/oily skin.
