Lock-It Tattoo Foundation

You do not even need a concealer for this foundation , it's amazing it is full coverage and last all day for me(: I have combination skin and it works well. I love it doesn't look cakey at all. I will definitely repurchase (:

okay so i made an account just so i can tell you all about my experience with this foundation. I usually use the sephora brand liquid foundation because it is WONDERFUL and at a decent price. when i went into sephora they were out so i decided to try this new foundation and was SUPER pumped because all my fave youtubers were using it and giving it an amazing review. so when i get foundation i like: full coverage, not cakey, if i can, a good price. so here are some pro and cons in my opinion about his product.

PROS: it covers well blends well feels smooth after applying lasts all day for me (Unless you sweat) its super cute packaging

CONS: feels "sticky" can look really cakey price it will literally be off my face if i sweat a little while working out also feels like im wearing a mask

overall, i am most likely not going to purchase this foundation again. I noticed that i have to clean my foundation brushes every night in order for my face to not look cakey, because when they are dirty my face gets so cakey i don't even want to go in public. the only way you can tone it down is with powder and some bronzer. BUT when it does look good, it looks good! so i suggest give it a try, it works out for some people, just not for me.

This foundation completely covers EVERYTHING and makes you look absolutely flawless. It does stay pretty matte, although I use MOM as a primer since I'm normally an oil slick. I have tried this without any primer, and I got a solid 8hrs before oil broke through and got some slight slippage...nothing a quick blot or some powder couldn't fix. I work 12hr shifts so believe me when I say I put this foundation to the test!

Wow. What a great foundation! I love how it has more pigment than usual foundations. It gives a great flawless finish. I found the MAC fix fluid to be better with oil control, but I think this has better coverage. I also like how it has no SPF. I tan and have a difficult time getting color on my face, so I don't want to prevent any of it. Just make sure your skin isn't flaking. These kinds of foundations do not look good with dry skin.

I have tried a lot of different foundations out from high end to drugstore brands. I was using another brand for quite sometime but I was noticing that I was not liking how it was turning out by the end of the day.

I first got a sample of Kat Von D's Lock-It Tattoo Foundation in Light 44 which was way to light for me. I looked like a ghost! Although I knew that the color was going to be way too light for me I was surprised that I loved how it felt on my face and did not crease or separate anywhere on my face. I finally found my PERFECT match! Light 48 was my color!

A little bit definitely goes a long way with this foundation. One pump can fill my entire face. I typically use my Beauty Blender to apply it all over. This is my daily foundation and I wear it during my long shifts. I love coming home and still seeing how fresh my foundation looks. I have combination skin more leaning towards the oily side and the foundation does not get greased up or fades.
