Lock-It Tattoo Foundation

I have had my eye on this foundation for a very long time. A few days before Christmas I went into Sephora determined to get this foundation. I had the lady working help me with the shade. I don't have an exact match but Light 46 is close. You couldn't tell it was a tad darker unless you were REALLY looking. I also just think it depends on the lighting. I use the foundation with Kat Von D's primer and I apply the foundation with a stippling brush. I love this foundation. It covers my hyper-pigmentation while I'm trying to get rid of it. I have dry skin and it took a while to learn how to use this. I now exfoliate with Alpha-Beta Peel Pads, use an oil for my skin and use a cream before apply primer and foundation. My skin has never looked so flawless. I will be repurchasing this every time I am out.

For the last year and a half I've had some yearly horrible acne issues, so much so that it was hard for me to even leave the house, but this foundation really saved me. Although my skin has cleared up a lot since I started using it, I still use it and love it. It might not be the best option if you have super dry skin as it has a very matte finish, but my skin is pretty dry at the moment and it still works for me.

I'd say the main pros are: Full coverage + long-lasting wear. Definitely need to use a good makeup remover for this, though, not just makeup wipes. I use an oil cleanser and it works best.

It covers everything but it makes my face cakey :( . The coverage is really amazing but I don't wanna look cakey. It's a good foundation for when I go out because of its coverage and when it's dark you don't see the cakeyness.

I'm getting this for Christmas, and I love it's full coverage, I have oily and acne prone skin, I recommend this for winter time especially, it made me feel like I was beautiful, this will definitely boost your confidence

I love this foundation. I would not wear it on my everyday basis only when going out special just cause its too heavy for everyday wear. my color match is perfect so thats another plus.

First off, I was just super stoked that there was a color light enough to match me, I have so much trouble finding a color light enough. Now, he first time wearing this for probably the first half an hour wearing it I wasn't sure how I felt about it, it felt a little heavy to me, but it did not take long for that feeling to go away and feel like I was wearing nothing, and I haven't had that feeling since. I have worn this foundation a few days in a row now, and I can honestly say that I am loving it. I have had no negative reactions to it (such as breaking out), it has great coverage (I haven't used concealer since I have been using this, and being so pale it is harder to cover things, especially dark under eyes), applied correctly it looks natural, takes so little to cover my face, and does not melt off (hung out in 90degree weather for hours, no primer on, and still looked great at the end of the day). I just got this as a sample looking for a new foundation and have one more to try out, but I am pretty sure this is going to be the one I go with, definitely worth the price to me. Oh, I have normal skin.

I just recently switched foundations because I learned that my MAC Full Coverage foundation was breaking me out BIG TIME! So I did some research and I found this foundation! I have really sensitive and acne prone skin so I wanted something that wouldn't cause my skin to breakout or have bad irritation, but I also wanted something full coverage (but not the full coverage that would make me look fake) This foundation is PERFECT! It covers everything from my breakouts to previous scars and it dries to a perfect matte finish, also it stays on ALL DAY! It does not feel heavy or cakey at all, and I never have to touch up my makeup. I would definitely recommend this foundation for anyone who has troubled skin like mine!

Great coverage and it lasts forever!!, I like the matte finish and it doesn't look cakey. I apply the foundation with my ecotools foundation brush and it looks great and covers everything, but I noticed that if I apply with my fingers only in the areas that need to be covered (like red areas or blemishes) looks very natural. But you really need to select the right shade.

Anyway I'm really pleased with it.

I saw this product and I fell in love with it. I just had to get! This foundation is in a matte finish, full coverage, last for 24 hours and I can go on and on about this product. All I can say is that it's get covers up my acne scars and feels light and airy on my face. It last all day for me which is great cause I need It for my long busy days when I don't have the time to touch up my makeup.

When I went to purchase this, they didn't have the shade I wanted, so I settled for L46. It's a bit too red for me, but other than that it works. I've never been interested in a full coverage foundation, so I always mix this with a thinner foundation. As of late I've been mixing it with UD Naked Skin for a medium coverage, and it matches my skin better. I wore it by itself a few times, and it looked cakey and red, but it lasted hours longer than any of my other foundations. I absolutely love the packaging; I've never had problems with the pump and the bottle as a whole is designed beautifully. This is a great foundation for performing on stage since it is so thick and long-wearing. The only problem is that sweating does make it melt off your face a bit (but powder can fix that). Overall this is a great medium-full coverage foundation (full coverage foundation is clown-status makeup). I picked the wrong shade that makes my face look a bit red, but it's great that they have very pale shades for more ghostly skin types. I don't recommend this for everyday use, unless you mix it with a lighter foundation.
