Velvet Trap Lipstick

Such a gorgeous formula and shade!! Absolutely obsessed🙌 I wish he would come out with this shade in his liquid lipstick formula because that’s the formula I reach for the most, but I don’t mind the velvet trap formula😍 it does look light on me because of my skin tone, but I love it!!

First time ordering from Jeffree, couldnt resist these shades. Im glad he came out with a traditional lipstick because I despise liquid lipsticks and they never work for me. Im gravitating towards cool toned lipsticks in general and so I love these dusty lilac mauvey shades, cannot even describe this color but Nudist Colony is in the same family as my other favs Tea Rose by Elf and Lilac Impulse of L'oreal, both mediocre quality tho, very drying. Velvet Trap in this shade is amazing, the formula is pigmented, smooth and non drying. I wore it to the gym with a mask on and it was still on my lips after I left and I go hard in there. It didnt even transfer on the mask. I have very dry lips and it felt very comfortable. I was impressed cuz lipstick on me becomes a mess after an hour, also I could still rub my lips together and feel the lipstick on them smooth and moisturizing. The smell is like a Mac lipstick. Wore both shades I got the same day for 4-5 hrs each and Nudist Colony is my fav. I dont need to re apply and I get full opacity with two swipes. I expected the color to be abit darker on the lips judging by the lipstick and I wish it was a bit darker but I still love it.

I bought Nudist Colony along with 2 other shades, Malibu Beach House and Medieval Kiss, these lipsticks are fantastic. I find that the formula does have good staying power, at least for me, and wears well. For those saying it wiped off after some time, this is a bullet lipstick, which does not typically last as long as a liquid lipstick. I did not find the formula patchy, for those that did maybe exfoliating and moisturizing prior to application may help. I liked these so much I went back and bought Naked Body and The Perfect Red.
