Velvet Trap Lipstick

Love love love the colour and it smells like mini eggs which is so yummy. Giving it a 3 star rating because though they are super comfortable, and the colour is pretty, it’s kind of patchy, it doesn’t layer super well, and it clings to any dry patches which is really unfortunate! It might just be the shade I got, and I will still wear it because from afar it looks really great, but I wish it was a bit more full coverage

I love the JSC liquid lipsticks. They are the best. But the velvet trap is just weird. Bearly see the colour on me. So not for medium skin.

I really wanted to love this, but why he changed his formula is beyond me? It's patchy and I almost feel like it's a tinted lip balm. It's not worth the money, and I love Jeffree Star, but this is a pass.

So I was very pleased with Nudist Colony and so and so pleased with Celebrity Skin, but Malibu Beach House disappointed me big time. There is not enough pigment in this, I kept swiping it and it felt like a lip balm, almost the problem I had with Celebrity Skin where it removed the color underneath when I tried to layer it just to intensify the color because its just not intense enough as it is on the tube ya know, but Celebrity Skin is kinda darker than Malibu Beach House so i made that one work. MBH is just too faint. Also on the tube it looks like a beautiful medium lilac pink and then on the skin its a very light blue based pink and these shades dont flatter me. I saved the day by applying Never by Kleancolor a creamy dark mauve/purple lipliner so it made the color darker. 3 stars because it did last long enough and didnt dry my lips out. I hope he makes a true medium lilac shade, like colourpop's Cheetah lipstick, my fav cool toned lilac lipstick, remember it? discontinued :( And I hope he improves this formula because he raved about it but its a hit or miss depending on the shade. The pics are taken in fluorescent light so that the color looks as it does in neutral light and I never use filters on my pics.

I was hoping It looked like the picture, but its very pale... Maybe with a good liner .... These are just ok... The bullet is the best part...💗

Maybe I got a bad batch but there’s no pigmentation on these lipsticks. I got Malibu house and Nudist Colony. They look the same because no pigment. It feels and looks like a tinted lip balm.
