Magic Star™ Concealer

Wonderful coverage, perfect shade! I wear the shade Aruba in Nars for foundation. This shade is just a tinge lighter, which is great since I use I to brighten my under eyes. Very little creasing to no creasing depending on which setting powder I use.

Like everyone else who picked this concealer, I was super excited about it. Huge Jeffree Star fan over here, and all the products I've tried from him work beautifully. However, this is not the case. I tried multiple times with everything I have to make this work but I give up. I'm going to start with the picture I've attached. Please don't mind the acne scars, I used the concealer today around my nose and you can see the difference between my cheek and the area where I applied the concealer. Is is BAD, it creases horribly, it clumps and just overall looks bad. My boyfriend has pointed out every single time when I've tried to use the concealer because it looks awful AND he is not a makeup person. He told me to throw it away. I didn't know I had wrinkles under my eyes until I used this... I also have a wrinkle on my forehead and every single time I had tried this concealer it just hightlights my wrinkles even more! :'( Tried using different foundations and different powders and results are the same. Used it before and after foundation, with a brush, fingers, sponge and nada. Finally, used it just around my nose because eveywhere else is just the worst. The first time I used it under my eyes, forehead and nose...Ended up looking like a raisen and I thought it was me but after weeks I just can't make it up work with anything. I'm heart broken because it matches perfectly my skin tone but the formula is just bad. Component is beautiful but I'll probably just use this concealer as decoration. Sucks that I paid full price for something that is just there to look pretty.

I was honestly surprised at how wonderful this concealer was! I’ve tried it all...Shape Tape, drugstore, and everything in between....and none of the did it for me. Either they were too thick, too dry, not pigmented enough, creased too quick, etc....but this stuff....oh WOW! Now I see why everyone raves about concealer!!! It’s so creamy and blendable, but it still covers all your issues. It looks flawless all day. And it doesn’t make my skin feel like I just trekked through the Mojave Desert!!! I’m definitely going to invest in the peach correcter as soon as it stocks and maybe another one or two colors for sculpting. EXCELLENT product!! (Plus you can NEVER GO WRONG with Beautylish’s amazing customer service!!!!!)
