Great Color, Streaky Application
I love Jeffree Star's liquid lips, and this was my first Lip Ammunition purchase. The color is fantastic, but I found the application a little streaky. I know purple and blue lipsticks are hard to make, so it really doesn't surprise me. I was hoping for a more matte finish, though, since those last longer even though more drying, but otherwise, I like it.
Shade is good formula is 👎
I purchased this shade because of the uniqueness of it but it cracks on the edges of my lips you can never lyre it it will crack so much and it's uncomfortable although it is cream consistency Jeffree once said about purples that it is hard to make but this is really bad I don't know why he release it while it's not good yet... don't purchase this go for the liquid lipsticks is the best formula ever but this don't worth $18 dollars and the packaging is so plasticky cheap
Beautiful!
I absolutely adore this color. It was a smooth lipstick that keeps my lips feeling hydrated. It doesn't have the staying power as the valour liquids but I loved how it looked! I find I can easily just single swipe enough color on my lips but I usually like it a little more intense and do two swipes. The attached photo is a before and after eating. Some came off, but it didn't all come off like I thought! I would definitely buy again and am looking at get others of the lip ammunitions!
Cute color, Grainy application
I am a big fan of the liquid lipstick by Jeffree so I was excited to try the lip ammunitions. I just grabbed Grandaddy purp to start out and I can say I am fairly underwhelmed. The gritty/grainy issue others have had is also happening to my lipstick. It isn't super bad and the product is fairly salvageable, but it does concern me that there is any grit to begin with. From now on I will stick with the liquid lipsticks.
Okay?
Honestly wasn't bad. Was scared to receive these as I have heard such bad things (esp Celebrity Skin, which is a shade I had also ordered). I had received Granddaddy Purp and Celebrity Skin today. THANK THE LORD my celebrity skin wasn't grainy! But Granddaddy Purp is SUCH a hard shade to work with, would deffs recommend a lip liner :(
Celebrity Skin wasn't grainy for me and has stayed smooth in the tube, so I don't understand everyone else's problems with that one. I also bought Granddaddy Purp, and while it does move around a bit on my lips, the color is beautiful and really did just require me to use a little extra effort when applying.
Nice Shade - Awful Packaging
This Blue/Purple Shade is stunning, however the lipstick itself is not worth 18$. There is no "One Swipe Coverage" as Jeffree said. The quality is okay, but not better then some drugstore brands. But the worst thing is the packaging. I liked how it looked online and I was excited. But in real life it just looks like very cheap kids makeup. It's awful lightweight plastic. And the stars are already coming of after one day. Not really impressed.
