Tone Correcting Concealer

This concealer is perfect. I use this before I apply foundation or even those days when I don't want to wear any makeup. This is my $1 secret ;)

I knew I was going to get a sort of sketchy product seeing as it was only $1 & I wasn't surprised to find it pretty ineffective. But when I mix it with a Maybelline concealer that I have, it gives INSANE coverage! :D Like, 10x better than the Maybelline on it's own!

And it smells like fruit loops!! LOL

As a concealer, it did not conceal anything! It was like applying a moisturizer, it blended into my skin. I bought it to conceal my dark circles but that didn't happen. One day it occurred to me, why not use it as a corrector! I would apply some concealer onto the back of my clean hand and applied an orange lipstick or orange eyeshadow next to the concealer. After i would mix it, i would apply it directly to my dark under eye circles and that works for me. Overall, I would not recommend this product if you want to use it as a concealer but if you want to use this for correcting trouble areas, just mix a color into this because it will work. I have tried it with green for my red nose and it worked. Don't put too much green in it because you might not be able to blend it out and remember to apply the corrector before your foundation.

The E.L.F Tone Correcting Concealer is a basic concealer in a small, plastic tube. The packaging is simple with a white plastic screw-off sponge-wand that is also the cover to the product. There is obviously not much product in it, But since the price is $1, it was a worthy purchase. it illuminated my under-eye area, And also concealed my dark circles better than what I had imagined. It is not well for blemishes though, And if not set with a powder can stray away in the middle of the day. Slightly greasy, But not so much it'd interfere with the product. Overall it's a very great product for the price.

Pros: -Price. -Coverage in the under-eye area. -Illumination. -Color Selection.

Cons: -Has a slight greasy feeling. -Doesn't cover discoloration or blemishes very well. -Packaging. -Small size of product.

Overall: Very decent product, I will re-purchase this again. Four and a Half Stars.

I am not a fan of this concealer. It gives a very sheer coverage and does not stay on for long. Its very greasy too and you don't get much product in the container. The price is nice and it does cover dark circles but it doesn't do much of anything else.

This is my first time trying a concealer so I figured I buy a cheap one. This was only a dollar and I'm actually impressed. It covers my dark circles and blemishes well, and the formula is buildable. It completely blends with my skintone and you can't even tell when I'm wearing it. The smell is incredible for a concealer! Reminds me of pink lemonade :) It also gives a nice little tingle when applied.
