I regret buying this!
I wore this to one of my dance competitions for smokey eyes. After my performance, I began to noticed lines on my lids and I blended it out to make it not noticeable. I'm very disappointed in CG. I really love them, but not this product. I may use the white side as a base, but sadly, I think one of the dancers that used this and didn't twisted down the product, closed the cap, and broke, I was kinda pissed off about that.. wasted my money on that, and also how crappy the product was.
NOT IMPRESSED :(
When this first came out I was super excited because it looked like something I would usually love...NOT.. first off you had to apply it soo lightly or the stick would just snap off, plus the pigmentation sucked, (especially the smoke color). It didn't go on evenly at all and the first time i tried it, it creased about a hour later.. if that. Horrible product :(
Creases like crazy!
No matter if you use a primer or apply powder over this you'll end up with creases within 30 minutes. I also wonder how they expect you to keep the darker shade sharp and not worn out. The colors are also not as pigmented as the packaging shows or wants you to believe. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS. I wouldn't wish this product on anyone. It's going straight to the trashcan.
Hate it so much.
If I could give this product lower than one star I would. It's so greasy, and it creases like no tomorrow. It is not as pigmented as advertised. In order to make this product work it would require more that just the product itself. So this isn't "making the smoky eye easy." It would be a lot easier to just do a smoky eye with regular shadows than to buy all of the products it would take to make this work. I wasted $7.50 on it at Walmart for a product only worth maybe $1. This product made me swear off of trying anything else from CoverGirl again, because every product I've owned by them is very poor in quality.
I say hello, you say goodbye!
I own 5 of these. I couldn't resist - they are only $8 for a duo! The sticks are thick, so they are easy to hold and control. I like the pointed tip on the liner end, it's simple precision. You can blend them too, so you can create your own colour combinations. They are great for travel because you don't have to worry about a powder breaking in your makeup bag.
Now for my con: They do not stick around very long. Even with an eyeshadow primer, they find a way to work off of my lids and in to my crease fast. super frustrating. I will not rebuy.
