Clean Makeup Oil Control

I have normal skin (oily on my T-zone) and this product made me break out so bad. The consistency was very liquidy which made it very hard to build up coverage, and the product would not stay on my face very well.

First I took a star off because of the 3 formulas, each of the color selections is different. The lightest shade in the oil control is darker, by a little, than the lightest in the normal. I wanted oil control so I grabbed it thinking the color wasn't too off and it may work and it does. It is a hair too dark and I wish they had the oil control in the lighter color but oh well. It's not so dark that I can't wear it, or that someone might point it out, but enough for ME to notice.

Now onto the good. First, this blends easily. I use a Sonia Kashuk dense powder brush which is like a smaller kabuki and it blends really well with that. I did NOT need powder to set this. It seton it's own and not in an overly dry cakey way. I didn't have to touch up at all today. I have had it on for 8 hours and it looks the same as when I started. It did not oxidize. The jar says matte finish, I would say its that. It's just not full matte. It has a satin finish for me. A perfect natural finish. I did not get any oily patches around my nose chin or forehead where I usually do. This did control oil. I was so surprised to look in the mirror when I got in my car after work and see good skin/makeup. Usually by the time I leave work and get into the sunlight and look in my rear view mirror I am gasping at how bad my makeup looks and move on to something else. Not this time.

I think this foundation has great staying power and does help with oil control. If that's all you're looking for then this is a great foundation for you. However, I don't think it gives a whole lot of coverage and it's not very easy to blend. If that weren't enough the packaging is just a pain in the ass. Once you start to run low it takes some work getting this foundation out of the bottle. Bought it once, used it up, won't buy it again.

I dont usually use a primer everyday so i would say it stays on for a good amount of time..it really does help with oil production. It doesnt look cakey at all and it covers really well. Thumbs up for me

My skin color is very pale and it's hard for me to find a foundation pale enough that isn't too pink or yellow. This foundation matches me very well, it's affordable, gives decent coverage, buildable, and doesn't make me nearly as oily as other drugstore foundations. However, I do still get oily so the foundation melts off of my skin after a while. It has been a repurchase for me though since it's cheap and I'm scared to try any other foundations for fear of them braking me out. My skin is acne prone and the foundation doesn't seem to break me out as bad as it could.

I bought the foundation because i needed something that wouldn't clog my pours.. It made my face look super natural and great looking. People started to see my eyes more too. But after awhile i realized it was clogging my pours. It makes everything look great while its on, but once taken off, it just clogs everything!
