Custom Cover Drops (Retired)

I've held off on writing a review on these until I could test these drops with a variety of different mixers. I've had them for a little while now and I have to say, I don't reach for them as often as I thought I would.

Theoretically, these drops are meant to add pigmentation and coverage to the product of your choice. The problem is that they tend to alter the finish of the product and for some reason, the resulting mixture tends to cling to my pores. I've tried this with Charlotte Tilbury's Wonderglow, Koh Gen Do foundations (both of the liquid variety), Bioderma Hydrabio gel-creme and serum and a fair amount of other moisturizers but somehow the result somehow ends up the same.

I still need to experiment with the right method/mixture that would get these to work on my combination skin.

I ordered this in 2 shades, G20 and N25, one lighter for when I'm not as tan and another for when I get more tan. I like to mix them with my cheaper foundation (maybelline matte and poreless) to give it a heavier coverage. It gives you a flawless full coverage look. Love it.

I am enjoying this product too much. I can basically custom make different textures of foundation depending on my skin condition. Also very easy to create different looks like dewy finish or matt finish. And I am also surprised how pigmented it is, normally I only need 2 drops to have a good coverage. It is also a perfect shade for my Chinese pale skin. I am more than happy that I purchased this.

I bought this product in the hopes of getting a very full coverage foundation, and my wishes were granted! I use this along with the cream foundation in the same shade (G20) and it works awesome for my skin. I don't mix it with a primer however, I just swipe Off the stick and dot it all over my face and then blend with my Artìs brush. It has worked amazing in covering my hyper pigmentation and redness that I get due to acne, it also doesn't over dry which is a problem I face due to the prescription medication I am using for my acne. I definitely recommend applying a moisturizer and primer before to really keep it on for the whole day.

The only thing I am disappointed with is that the packaging is not very good. Product builds up on the bottle where the top screws on resulting in loss of product, so if taking with you somewhere make sure it is in a place where it can stay upright.

Overall my go-to foundation. I also use hourglass Illusion, makeup forever Ultra HD Foundation, Dior forever skin, coverFX cream foundation and bare minerals BareSkin and this is the one I always pick up when doing a full face.

It is definitely worth the money and a little goes a LONG way, do purchase! You won't be disappointed!

I love all the positive feedback on the product. How do you know which color/shade is which. I'm light fair. I wanna order this it looks amazing on You Tube I've used Make-up Forever for years love that but would love to try this. thx, for anyone's feedbacks ??

I bought these drops because Manny MUA recommended it. Basically, you add the drops to any product (eg. moisturiser, foundation etc ...). Those drops can change the shade, formula and coverage of any product. Love it ! ❤️❤️

I saw Tati (glamlifeguru) review this on youtube a had to buy it immediately, beautylish shipped it so quickly i was amazed; I ordered it on thursday night and it got to NZ by monday! This stuff cannot be compared to anything else I've ever tried, it is unbelievably good, i mix it with my Smashbox primer and it goes on like silk, and it lasts all day, i even went to the gym after uni with it on and it didn't separate at all. the shade is quite yellow, definitely a strong golden undertone, but it blends out on the skin perfectly and doesn't look fake at all. It doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything on my face when i wear this with my primer which i love, i have tried it with my moisturiser however i didnt like it as much that way as my moisturiser is really heavy and this stuff feels way better with a silky primer. Overall, the best thing ive ever tried, my other foundations are dead to me.

I got this in two shades N10 and G20. G20 is too dark and N10 is too pink. The product itself is really neat. I like to mix it with my serum on lazy days and then just too it with a bit of light powder foundation. I wouldn't recommend using it alone unless you have really normal skin texture, since it's pure pigment it doesn't really moisturize or help with oily skin. When I used it alone it broke down on my t-zone within a couple hours and then flaked off on my dry areas. The joy of combination skin!
