Rock 'N' Kohl

This is the easiest eye liner pencil I've ever used! It's very soft and absolutely will not pull or drag when you apply it. I have red hair, blue-green eyes and medium light skin, so I've been using both the Veruschka Mink and Marlene Midnight and they work very well with my coloring. Just be sure to get the sharpener as well as the pencil as I had difficulty sharpening the pencil with the sharpeners I had with other makeup brands.

If you mostly use eyeliner for tightlining, this kohl liner has very little staying power on the waterline. I have sensitive eyes and have sightly oily eyelids. After just a couple of hours, this liner smeared and was almost invisible. If you experience similar problems, I highly recommend Clio's liquid pen liners. They are the only ones that stay put no matter what you do and lasts until you take them off with a makeup remover.

This is by far the best eyeliner that I have ever tried, the application was smooth and creamy at once, even cold. I bought Veruschka Mink which can be applied heavily, leaving a dark charcoal gray shade, or smoked out into a lighter gray shade. It is very blendable but sets quickly and is very long lasting, perfect for a smoky eye.

This is the perfect color for my hazel green eyes now that I am letting my natural silver gray hair come in. My usual black was just too harsh and other colors seemed to disappear or make me look tired. This color gives me the definition I need, looks very natural, and adds some oomph to my eyes. I use it with Eyes to Mesmerise gel shadow. Daytime I use it with Jean applied very lightly for just a bit of brightness. For nights out I use it with the matching Veruschka shadow and it gives a perfect soft monotone smokey eye. It glides on beautifully without any tug.

I am so keen to buy the rest of the Rock n Kohl pencils from CT. Veruschka Mink is a perfectly universally flattering hue to really boost the last line, smudges to perfection and lasts and lasts and lasts. A kit must-have, I will be soon stocking up!

As soon as I saw the color of the pencil, a perfect purple slate haze, I knew I had to have it. For a green-eyed girl who loves taupe shadows, it is a dream. The color is deep and yet subdued, a very natural lashline bolster. Generally I dislike eyeliner pencils, and they way they apply unevenly and need to be smudged out. This one really does have a "silky glide" feel and look. The line was clean and smooth with no hassle. Also, the "Rock N Kohl" name is genius. Resistance is futile.
