Its cute and color is complementary but doesnt seem to blend well
I like the color to subtly highlights areas I wanted to highlight but minus a star because it took so much blending to achieve smooth blend that I desired. I'm using Sonia G pro cheek brush which is considered top of the line to buff this in but the product formula seems to settle in my skin texture and doesn't blend properly even after many efforts to blend and buff and blend and buff. Its cute but it highlights texture.
Love it!
Yes I was drawn to it because of the Lunar New Year, but I love it for the color. It’s very subtle, a very pale peachy pink champagne glow, which is perfect for me. I don’t want a blinding flash of highlight, or glitter. If you want glitz and glam, this may not be for you. I think it’s perfect for me!
Beautiful color, but too cute to use!
I love most of Becca’s powders, this one is as creamy and goes on like a dream, but it’s the limited edition Lunar New Year (year of the 🐽). The press on the powder is so cute, of a little piggy wearing a lotus flower, I don’t want to mess it up. Maybe it will go into my collection of limited edition highlighters!
Cute design and subtle, buildable highlight
This was too cute to pass up asI love the little lunar year pig design.
The color itself is more of a light champagne and subtle, but buildable for a nice glow that looks smooth. Those that want a strong highlight may not like this one.
The texture is soft and finely milled, not chunky in any way, and flattering on my skin.
The photo I included was taken in sunlight and there’s a small swatch on the left lower side of my hand.
Sheer, but build-able
I purchased this because I loved the packaging and the color. In the picture the pan looks pink with some peach but when I received it, it looked more peachy. Upon swatch, it definitely has more of a golden hue with little to no pink in it. I like the fact I can build this, rather than having a crazy amount of shine on application. If this appeals to you, it may be a better option than their typical highlighters. I don't have any highlighters in my collection exactly like this, so I'm happy I purchased it. Sorry for the terrible photo, its winter and grey at the time I took these.
