Lays terribly on the skin...
I wanted to love this so bad, but I just couldn’t. I used this with their purple primer backlight or whatever, and it started to separate on my skin and just really patchy and weird! So I used it without any primer, and still the same thing happened.. I gave it to my mom so that she could try it, and it did the same thing to her. So we gave it to my sister and the same thing happened! Maybe I got a bad batch? Idk but I won’t wear it again.
I was skeptical about this but it came in a boxy charm box. I’ll be honest it far exceeded my expectations. It is quite heavy. And i could see it causing extra oil if you over use. But the coverage is quite flawless and full. It is smoothing but be careful not to use too much. I’d say this a wee bit thinner than Estée Lauder double wear but more fluid. Less wear proof. I’d say it’s def worth the price tho. Better than Dior forever, Lancôme 24 hour, tarte Amazonian clay, about as good as Stila stay all day, but not as good as KVD lock it. Or Marc Jacobs. I’d say top pick of those at least for the most part. Use less it goes far. Can get oily. Set with powder.
I love this foundation. It's definitely the best foundation i've tried for my dry sensitive skin. All other foundations just highlight the dry flakes around my nose and sit in the pores but not this one. The liquid formula is prefect for my skin, the shade will adapt to the skin color. I have medium and beige shade and although medium seems dark, both look exactly the same when applied on my face.
not for me...
I have loved every Becca product that I have purchased. However, that is not the case with this foundation. I don't feel like it gives the coverage I need. Actually made my skin feel somewhat oily, which is not a good feeling. It does blend well! I just had to use probably 2-3 times the normal amount just to get decent coverage. Not a fan of the dropper either...
Becca Aqua Luminous Foundation.
I love this foundation. It has great pigmentation and feels great on my mostly dry skin. Does not cling to dry patches. I actually use both light and beige to create the perfect color for my skin tone. If your skin is somewhat on the dryer side, give this a try.
Could be better
I like it. I do. But I think I would prefer it if I had more of a tan and didn't need foundation to begin with. It really is harder than most foundations I have used to blend in well. Not sure how long it lasted because I have mixed it with different foundations so it's hard to get a real read on its longevity. We will see though!

Primer is a must for me though (Marc Jacobs coconut primer) otherwise the foundation does not stick after just applying moisturiser. The finish is on dewy side but looks super natural. Coverage is on the light side but build-able. I find the beatyblender the best tool for application of this foundation.
