bareMinerals SPF 15 Matte Foundation

This foundation is fantastic. I have sensitive skin and I am prone to break outs. I have been using this product for years. I have combination skin. When I have oily skin, this is perfect to absorb the oils. I especially recommend this to anyone with oily skin. It feels like nothing is on the skin, and looks natural. The great thing is it is buildable.

The bare minerals original powder foundation is an overall great product. It gives light-medium coverage, and evens out your skin tone. Plus, you can barely tell you are even wearing makeup when you are wearing this product. It has a great formula that is very gentle with your skin, even sensitive skin. It is also very healthy for your skin and VERY rarely to never causes breakouts. It's a fantastic foundation! Take note: if you are considering buying this product, you must go into sephora or bare minerals to have a color match. When I was in sephora I was about to purchase this product just from my own judgement. Then one of the women there told me I chose a color much too light for my skintone and when I put it on it will look chalky. She tried out several colors on me and found the right one. Since there are over 20 colors, ordering online or getting it without assistance isn't an option.

this is seriously the best foundation ever! i have very oily skin and this keeps my oil under control. it doesnt completly get rid of my oil but it does a really good job at it! i dont ever have to worry about if my makeup has slid off my face anymore! this foundation is so great because it looks like you are wearing nothing at all! my freckles still show through which i absolutley love because that makes it look so natural! also you dont even feel like you are wearing any makeup at all! and it looks so smooth! it covers all my blemishes and rednesses!

I've never been a foundation girl. Just the THOUGHT of wearing any foundation, or powder made me feel like a phony. :/ As I get older, I realize that it might not be so bad for special occasions, or when my skin freaks out. I bought Fairly Light at Sephora about 6 months ago, and I have to say that I love it. It matches my skin tone exactly, and I wouldn't know what to do without it in my makeup collection. I can't really feel it on my face, all day. In fact, it so invisible, I have to keep myself from touching my face to make sure it's still there! lol. This is a wonderful product. I hope it's never discontinued!

I like this one because my skin tends to get oily in certain spots and the matte finish helps get rid of that nasty shine. It goes on great and feels amazing and makes my face look amazing. It's great for setting liquid foundation. Only negative is sometimes it feels like too much but maybe I'm just putting more on than I need. Overall I love it and will buy it again!

i love this product...i have been using bare escentuals for probably 4 years now and i am so happy with the products i get from bare escentuals....i use this on my face every day for my foundation and find myself to feel a full coverage and confident

Absolutely love this. Tried it for the first time a few weeks ago and it is fabulous. Even coverage that lasted all day and looked very natural. I highly recommend this to anyone.

When it comes to foundation, the goal is very simple: even out skin tone. So I don't need something that provides heavy coverage, but buildable coverage is always a great thing to have for those photo heavy events. My friends had been raving about Bareminerals foundation for a while so I decided to get my hands on one of the starter kits. When i first got my kit i got it in original formula but I got the wrong color (i like to think i'm darker than i really am), but sephora only had matte available in Fairly Light so i shelled out the extra bucks for this. This foundation really suites me, I like that it can go on sheer or medium depending on my hand when i apply it. Also the kit came with warmth, so when it's summer instead of going to buy a totally new shade (that's only gunna last me 3 months) i can just sprinkle some warmth and mix it to get my slightly tanner shade :) Definitely going to be repurchasing when i run out! However it will have to be in the original formula...i don't have oily skin so matte isnt necessary and i can't really give an accurate opinion on whether it controls oil or not :/ <3

EDIT: AFTER MONTHS OF USING THIS I've decided not to repurchase. I found that when I took a break from using this product for a few weeks and then went back to using it, it would break me out :( I don't break out easily and I'm not especially sensitive to products so this was really annoying. :(
