new favourite lippy

I was a little bit hesitant about orange lipsticks, I wasn't entirely sure if my skintone could pull it off. But I am SO happy I got it. I seriously feel like I might use the whole tube over the course of the summer. And so far I haven't seen a skintone that it doesn't flatter.

use it daily!

I use this every morning, slap a lip balm on, and by the time I'm ready for lip colour my lips are smooth and ready to go. Plus the taste doesn't hurt!

the pink of pinks!

A friend of mine bought this and raved about it, so I went to a MAC counter and scoped it out and fell in love. You can wear it applied lightly as an everyday lipstick, and there's always the option of amping it up if you feel like it. I'm seriously considering picking up a backup because this is my PERFECT pink lipstick.

cute and moisturizing!

I just bought one of these today in Citrus, and I'm already in love with it. It's got a fruity citrus smell, as the name promises, and in the container it's a vibrant orange. The balm itself is really smooth, and you don't need much to get its moisturizing effects. It also gives your lips a nice orangey tint without being too noticeable. I'm definitely going to buy some more of these apple balms.

absolutely adore these!

I have these right now in Pink Martini (vibrant pink) as well as Donutella (pinky-peach). I'd definitely say Donutella could be a "my lips but better" kind of colour, whereas Pink Martini has a bit more punch to it. They both have great pigment, they smell sweet and fruity, and have a fabulous taste to match. They're extremely moisturizing, and glide on well. I'm perfectly comfortable putting them on without a mirror because of its chapstick-like shape. I wouldn't say the wear is the best, but it leaves you with a nice flush to the lips, and is easy enough to reapply. I'm definitely going top pick up the purple (Skeletrina) next!
