Not for me, but still a good scrub
I only like this okay. I like that it is natural and there are no chemicals being rubbed all over my face. It smells pretty good too. It is a VERY thick consistency that you need to rub together and warm before you can spread it over your skin. It is super gentle but you can still feel it is coarse enough to exfoliate. It also doesn't leave me feeling dry like lots of cleansers and exfoliating washes do. The thing that I do NOT like about it is that after I use I feel like there is a type of film left over my whole face. I am not sure what that is, but it is really unpleasant for me; I hate that feeling on my skin. I feel like I need to use something else to scrape my face clean or wash it again with something else which defeats the purpose! Though I wouldn't buy again, I would recommend to a friend who has dry skin and is looking for something natural, but would warn about my dislike of it.
Good application, not black enough
So I heard good things about this and I love this style of eyeliner. And after reading the reviews on here I am thinking I may have gotten a dud. The tip is super pointy and it is so perfect for doing a wing. It was easy as pie with this pen liner. BUT mine is NOT blackest black! It was black but kind of sheer. I let it dry and went over it again 3 times and I still felt like it wasn't fully dark black. It is almost matte though. Huge let down by the product but the application is great. It isn't bad enough to throw away by any means but I wish it was really dark!
Gives decent length with no clumps
This mascara is one of the lesser let downs of mascara that I have used lately. Meaning it is not REALLY good by any means but I do like it. It does good with lengthening but as far as volume not so much; it doesn't build volume at all. The formula is on the wet side. The brush is good; it doesn't have a blunt end so you can get corner lashes well. The stick is bendy but I personally feel like that is kind of obnoxious because I like stiff ones so I can really push through my lashes.
Sticky on my face...
These are okay to me. I have 3 of them in natural beauty, dollface, and green siren. I am pretty yellow in skin tone and I find that the lighter shades don't show up on my face very well and are not buildable while the darker one is super easy to overdo. You have to be really careful to blend really well with the dark colors. But all of them DO give a really great glow to your face. I never use them though, because I can't stand the sticky texture on my skin! Blech. It doesn't seem to dry and I feel like if I powder it, it just gets "clumpy" looking. But in the summer weather when I don't wear foundation or a full face of makeup I find it really easy to put on plain skin and gives me a good flush and glow and that takes no time and looks natural.
Does nothing whatsoever
I actually bought this mascara after reading all the great reviews on this site. I have had it for about 4 months now and I just can't come up with anything good about it. My lashes do not look like I put anything on them. The brush is good at separation, that is true but no volume and no length. I tried and tried but no luck with this stuff.
Okay. So to start let me just say that I have been itchy beyond description for about the last 5 or 6 years on mainly my legs. I am talking to the point of scratching myself until I bleed and had scratching scars all over my legs. It just came out of nowhere and the doctor just told me to do a process of elimination with all my products. I tried that for years and literally just learned to live with the suffering after trying every single soap/bodywash/lotion at the whole damn store. The only thing that helped was that really expensive lotion specifically for itchy skin. Until a couple months ago when I decided to buy this. And let me tell you, it saved me!! I love love LOVE this stuff and now it is all I buy. I have not itched since I started using it. It is soap free so maybe I am allergic to soap? Go figure, and I am not sure for a fact but I am a happy person when I can wear shorts in the summer because I don't have to hide my scratch marks!
Really gentle on skin
I have very sensitive skin and very dry and have had problems with lotions breaking me out or not keeping my face moist enough. This lotion kept my face feeling moisturized all day and the SPF is a benefit as well. And not one pimple from this stuff. I had no problems whatsoever with this, and did repurchase it when I ran out.
This stuff has a super duper weird texture for an eyeliner. It is going to sound worse than it is when I describe it - kind of thick/sticky/goopey. When I pull the brush out it is way too thick and the brush seems a little too big for this thick of a product. You end up having to maneuver the tip of the brush around the opening of the tube to scrape off product and shape the tip into a usable tip. If the brush was thinner then it wouldn't matter so much that a lot of product came out. Also, the texture/brush combo make it extra hard to do a nice pointy wing. But that aside, I do like the eyeliner. It has really good color payoff, probably the best liquid blue liner I have used. It is really shiny when you put in on and feels weird at first because it stays sticky and wet for a few minutes. But then when it finally dries it is matte and that stuff stays! Man I put a line on the back of my hand just for a color test and it stayed on the back of my hand for like 2 days, (obviously I wash my hands) - so this is SUPER waterproof and even soap proof. Unless you have a really good makeup remover it can be rough to wash off. I have only tried the blue one, but I would recommend based on this one! In the picture, I just want you to see the goopey looking brush, and how thick the formula looks.
Amazing!!
This is one of those things that was lost in my DRAWER of different concealers. Recently I have been going through to use up old products rather than buy new ones, and also to finally get RID of things that I will never use again. I saw this one and have 2 colors - light and sand. I tried again before tossing it, and sooooo glad I did. This stuff is great. It has great coverage, doesn't clump at all. It is smooth and sheer enough to use under eyes, but has good enough coverage you can use it on blemishes. When I'm in a super hurry I use this to cover blemishes and under my eyes and throw on some blush and mascara. I don't even need powder on my face and this still lasts all day! ALSO - this is the BEST concealer I have used to cover up lips for a nude/lighter lipstick shade; I have really dark lips. Just melds with the lips, has awesome coverage, and doesn't dry. Def recommend!
