A fantastic multi-purpose brush!
You know how MAC's 217 is good until you wash it? That brush is a waste of time until you try this. It's soft, and most importantly, stays soft. It's worth the investment so much so that I purchased two! It is flat enough to apply to the outer v but you can use it to apply to the lid, blend anywhere, apply to the lash line, etc. This and the 04 are necessities in my makeup routine!
Must-buy for hooded eyes!
This is one of my holy grail brushes. I have hooded eyes and this is perfect for creating depth in the crease when I severely lack it! It has a nicely tapered shape to it where I can not only use it for my crease but along my lower lash line as well. I prefer to apply and blend the crease color with my eyes open and this brush is small enough where I can have control of the placement without it going all the way up to the brow. It blends like a dream and it is soft like my kitty without the shedding. It's for any eye shape really but it's a unique shape I believe since most tapered crease brushes are quite large. I love my brush to pieces and use it every day. Well worth the $28.
A nice cleanser but just an okay makeup remover
I have sensitive but easy skin. I use a Target brand cleanser (that I actually prefer for my skin over Cetaphil) and Target brand eye makeup remover. Both of these are cheap and get the job done better than Bioderma but Bioderma is fantastic for a quick and simple cleanse. Great for after the gym or just to freshen up the skin when it's feeling a bit dirty. It doesn't sting or tighten my skin but I have to work a little harder to remove non-waterproof mascara and pencil/gel liners than my Target brand eye makeup remover. I can definitely see this as a useful item in a makeup artists kit to cleanse the skin before application and the travel size is awesome for downsizing toiletries during travel. But for little ol' me, I'll keep it on reserve for those lazy days and post-workout skin.
Moisturizing but expensive
Not sure if it just my lipstick but I noticed quite a gritty texture. Now, with that being said, once it melted more into my lips, it became very creamy and moisturizing. It has a slight satin sheen to it that gives glow and life to the lips, making them look soft and supple. It has mostly opaque coverage but it can gather when you press your lips together. Bitch Perfect is a super pretty nude on my quite pigmented lips that enhances the pink tones rather than lean brown or taupe which is the hardest part about finding a good nude for me. Out of all the many nude lipsticks I have tried from Mac Peachstock (too concealer-y) to Too Faced Melted Nude (too orange/brown) & Melted Chihuahua (too taupe), this color is unique to my collection and suits me best. The formula doesn't quite justify the price as it isn't smooth upon application and the packaging might look expensive but it doesn't really feel expensive. But I do enjoy how it looks and feels, which is what counts in the end!
