This is my go to drugstore mascara! I am constantly trying to find the best mascara, but I always make sure I have one of these babies on hand. I have straight, thin lashes and this was able to hold a curl and give life to them. The trick is to layer it. Sometimes I use a primer to add extra volume, but this mascara never lets me down. It's very buildable and never clumps.

Pleasantly surprised

While this product doesn't make my lashes look false, let's be honest.. no mascara can really do that. It builds well and gives life to my pathetic lashes. I'm constantly looking for a great mascara so a rarely by the same one twice, but I could see myself repurchasing this one. I have it in black-brown and I think I'll try the black next.

Perfect eyeshadow base!

NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils are great for enhancing the colors of your eyeshadows, but they do crease on their own. I always put my primer on first and make sure not to put too much product on. My sharpener didn't work well with the pencils though, so I melted them into containers and use them like paint pots. They are much less expensive than MAC and are a must for me, especially when doing bright looks!
