Beauty Product Reviews
Best every day scrub for oily and sensitive skin.
Yey! at last it's here!
I have been searching for an every day facial scrub that will be gentle on my skin and would not dry out or cause red patches after washing and this is the perfect one for me!
This has decreased my oilyness all day.
I use this this every morning for my daily bath and at night before going to sleep.
It leaves my skin fresh, clear and amazingly soft! A little goes a long way and the grimes are not hurtful, and this one never left my skin with red patches like most of the scrubs do and it has never broke me out.
A very great deal!
Go to mascara.
I have been 2 years loyal to CG mascaras but after trying out some BS waterproof mascara I have been playing around.
The brush separates my lashes very well, I always use the technique of wigglying it up. It does not give that real volume and real length but it do lengthens, defines and volumizes. It holds the curls well too, I am not just sure with the curving part because I always curl my lashes.
Though this one is not waterproof, it never failed me. It does not smudge or clump and it is also easy to cleanse it out. It never cut-short my lashes too. It easily dries and you don't have to worry that your lashes would be grouping together and turning your lashes like 3 huge lashes on your eyes.
What I love about this, and why I prefer it more than CG is that feeling of lightness. My lashes does not feel like having bunch of chemicals on it. I believe my lashes have become healthier too.I just feel safe. I don't know how to explain that but that's what I have observed.
The only annoying part on this is the consistency of the product sort of dries A BIT, not really bad. On the good side, the brush does not pull out bunch of product from the tube that I have to swipe it away.
Definitely re-purchasing - love to try the waterproof counterpart.
Note: I used only one coat of this mascara on my upper lashes in this picture.
blackest of black
This is my very first wet&wild product. It's cheap so I got curious.
I have been using this every single day for a month now and I must say it's a good product.
I do my liner really sticking on my lashes and a little thicker as it extends out, so I must say the brush does not help with it. It's thick and the brush is not that stiff and compressed.
For the liner itself, I really love the jet black color of it. I have compared it to some liners but this one- the color is intense like its an alive black black liner.
It's consistency is creamy-gel-ish type. I love how it glides easily.
The problem with these and why I gave it 4 stars is because during the day, I can see that the liner has been up to my crease already and whenever I accidentally touch my lashes or whatever part of the liner it sticks on my fingers, little did I know it has been erased. You really have to be careful with it.
But as long as my hands not going any near my liner, I'm good to go and it stays like forever.
Best moisturizer
It's not really that kind of gel, but nevertheless it's not runny or gooey or creamy. It's between a gel type and a lotion.
I have been thinking about it's smell as a coffee but it's more on the subtle smell of a tea bag. It's not disturbing at all, it's more on smelling an organic product. I just love it.
Why it is best?
It does not leave your skin having that silicone feeling. It does not feel and look like you just put a moisturizer on with those sleek oil.
It just simply EASILY absorbed by the skin and you can see and feel it. Your skin is there.
It has kept my skin moisturized. No oily feel and look in summer and I have no problem using it in cold season like December.
I have a sensitive combo-oily skin but I never had a problem with zits and We all have oily times but this one reduced my oiliness. Just a pat of facial tissue and I'm back again.
It stays true to what it claims.
Just to clear. Best moisturizer, no anti-aging effect like it pumps your face or tightening effect. It simply just moisturized with no oily effect.
I don't care if it does not have an SPF 'cause I can use and indulge this at night. I can always use my spf after using this one.
great deal!
I really don't like ELF... I do doubt their quality and safety. I bought their regular brushes and I hate them because they bleed, they fall out and worst it pricks my skin!
but this one is really great!
It does not hurt my eyelids. I can feel how GENTLE it is while it curls my lashes It does not give that sharp curl. It gives that beautiful curl! the handle are finger friendly.
My mom hates curlers but this one dealt with her!
what I don't like is the silicone rubber.
well it's cheap so I think its a great deal!
Better than brushes!
I have gone crazy wanting this and got crazier when I got it!
Better than fingers for liquid foundations and better than a brush for powder application.
It sets your liquid foundation flawlessly in a dewy glowing skin effect and when you top it off with a powder through this wonderful thing...
you foundation will look great and last longer!!!!
I use it on liquid and powder foundation, cream blushes as well.
I'll try using it on a powder blush soon.
gives you the perfect finish!
great affordable gel liner!
This is the only gel liner that I have. I took brown to have a soft look.
It's very easy to use, glides easily, the product itself is pigmented. No clumps during application. Dries easily, and can be erased with q-tips with no sweat here.
it stays great and does not smear.
The brush that is included is ok. it gets enough product, it lines properly as well. the only problem that I find is since the brush is long and soft, the product gets into my lashes.
it can be handled.
My sister got the black one, and oh! its so pigmented!
stretch those lashes!
If I'm into natural looking lashes - I grab this one!
This makes me look like I have extensions! hahaha!
It gives that thin/natural looking, long battling lashes.
still no clumps, no smudge, very light on the lashes.
the downside of this is that it does not hold your curls very well. So you have to make sure you extremely curled your lashes before application.
I usually apply 2 coats of this to fake the length.
love 'et!
Everyday Mascara
if I'm in a hurry, and combing CG lash blast with time is not possible- I grab Fusion.
I love this too!
It's easier to apply than LB. I guess the consistency is thicker. This one too doesn't clump, does not smudge.
The lengthening and volumizing power is not that huge like the original LB, but it do volumize and lengthens. 99.9% of my application is just for one coating and its enough to last me the whole day.
It holds your curls very well.
The thing that made me give 4.5 is that the color of their black is like purplish or gray but it appear flat black on my lashes.
CG LB black is jet black.
This is one time big time for any mascara out there! I love CG mascaras they have different effects on lashes.
Whenever I use this - people I rarely see, often asks if I am wearing falsies or had lash extension.
It's not heavy on the lids too, and what amazed me was it does not smudge like other mascaras. I was on the rain and I kept on wiping my whole face with my bare hands until i remembered that I have mascara on.... it never bled (well that's for the waterproof). No worries getting wet.
It lengthens, defines and volumizes my lashes. and the Black is really jet black unlike fusion it has that purplish like color but does not appear on lashes (its another story, but I love fusion too).
it does not clump and you don't need to overly curl your lashes with this, because I find it semi-curling my lashes already without using any curlers.
the only thing here is it takes me time to perfect the application. One application is enough to make that eyes battling with joy.
