Stunningly Beautiful! Effortless Performance!
These brushes are the most beautiful from my collection and they perform beautifully! When I sat down to play with them for the first time I had no idea what eye look I wanted to do and it came together effortlessly. Builder One brush reminds me of the Paula Dorf Smokie Eye brush but much more refined. It places shimmer on the lid with such ease and precision. I have very limited lid space so this is a game changer for me. The Pencil One is my new favorite pencil brush! So densely packed yet sooo soft! It is everything I was hoping my Suqqu S would be but wasn't. You can get a precise yet blended placement in one stroke! The Crease One places and blends so effortlessly it is absolutely amazing! Worker One is a real work horse. It shades and blends perfectly. I have mature hooded eyes and this allows me to sculpt my shape with a medium matte shade in literally half the time! These eye brushes are game changers and are a joy to use. Base One blended my liquid foundation with minimal effort. I usually do not use brushes for foundation but this did the job. The Face Two placed powder and buffed in blush like a dream. I might need at least 2 of these! The Sculpt One places and blends bronzer perfectly. The Sculpt Three is my new favorite for highlighter! I usually don't like fan brushes but these two are exceptional! The brushes are bundled beautifully with minimal to no shedding whatsoever. The handles and ferrules are stunning. I can't wait for more of Sonia's brushes. These are so special.
Gentle, Effective and Hypnotic
I absolutely love this. It takes off every tradeoff eye makeup including waterproof mascara. It doesn't sting, burn or irritate sensitive eyes. It leaves your skin perfectly cleansed, soft and supple. It smells heavenly. I can go on and on. I have the entire May Lindstrom line and I am head over heels in love. I love mixing the Pendulum Potion with Clean Dirt and the Honey Mud Mask massaging the mixture into my skin then jumping in the shower to steam my face. This stuff is my new favorite! Worth the splurge!
This is my third one
I absolutely love this little gem. It is so soft and perfectly bundled. I love the tapered, rounded point of this paddle shaped brush for precision placement of power under my eyes and t-zone. I love it especially with pigmented blushes and highlighters for a soft blended application with minimal effort. This brush is very comparable to the beloved Suqqu cheek brush for a fraction of the price. I don't know how he does it but Wayne's brushes knocks it out of the park every time. Love it!
Pure Perfection...
Another fabulous brush by Chikuhodo. This brush is pure perfection. It is luxe, lush and soooo soft. It is so densely packed it has perfect resistance for applying powder and bronzer, even blush if you prefer a larger brush. I like it for Meteorites. It picks up the product brilliantly and it applies and blends perfectly. What can I say, I have not been disappointed by any Z series brush yet. This is a splurge and I have no regrets.
Great Spoolie...My New Favorite
This is longer and more tapered than my other spoolies and it brushes and blends products beautifully. The bristles are firm yet do not scratch. It's like a fine boar bristle brush for your hair compared to others that are like a nylon bristle drugstore brush. I hope that helps...
Love it for contouring
This is my favorite brush to use with Kevyn Aucoin's Sculpting Powder. It is a candle shaped brush that tapers to a point. I like to run the point across the powder lightly then sweep under my cheekbone. The brush will do the blending for you perfectly. Depending on the pressure you apply you can control how precise or broad each stroke of color you apply. I like to contour my jawline and down my neck and this brush gets the job done effortlessly. It can be used for highlighting as well.
Yeah....NO!
These things are the worst. They dry out your lips--from the first application in my case. Whoever thought of this shape was off... It is so huge it borders on the ridiculous. I bought a multi-pack and ended up giving them all away. I really do not get the attraction nor the rave reviews...
Great Multi-tasker!
You can do your entire eye with this brush. Used flat it lays down color as good as or even better than a MAC239. Used on its edge it places color in your crease, outer-v and even at the lash line! Then turn it 90 degrees and use it as a blender. It cleans up between colors so easily by just wiping on a tissue. This a very versatile brush and so soft!
This brush is like a magic wand!
I absolutely adore this brush and I have a back-up as well. Take your darkest, most pigmented color and pack it on the tip of this brush- then prepare yourself for the magic. In one sweep it will precisely line your eye and blend to absolute perfection and you are done. Oh and it works your outer- v like nobody's business. You want a perfect cut crease? Well this is your baby. Enough said. Go on. Just do it. You know you want it and you deserve it. You will not regret it. You will only regret not getting it sooner.
Great shape but too scratchy.
This brush is a perfect shape but the bristles are scratchy. I love the Chikuhodo Z 10 and it blows this one out of the park for softness. However, the Z 10 has longer bristles and when blending kohl pencil it loses some precision because of its softness. The MAC 219 compares in softness or should I say scratchiness. The Tom Ford Smokey liner brush is superior in my opinion for its softness and body. I am still hoping for the Suqqu S brush to be put back into production. I thought that this was going to be a dupe but no such luck.
