Beauty Product Reviews

The one I've been waiting for!

First, I just got this palette, (thank you Beautylish for the fast shipping and great packaging as always).

I haven't had a chance to play with all the colors yet, but swatched every color and love them, and I did two looks yesterday and absolutely love this palette.

I'd say its a smaller Biba-ish with the gorgeous glimmer and shimmer that was missing. And the multi chrome is gorgeous! I'm so happy to have a multi chrome that isn't full of green. This one is a pretty copper/rose gold-ish shift. Some of the colors are very similar to Biba and that's what I wanted. I love the warm tones in the colors as they suit my skin best.

For reference, I did get the Gold palette and its just ok...I feel everything in that one is too similar and just not enough variation of color in the mattes you'd use for blending and transition, and I think the tones are too cool or olive. But this warm palette really has great tones and depth with the mattes. The shimmers are stunning. I travel a lot and always had to take a couple of palettes to get the looks I wanted. I think this palette will be perfect for me for travel and for everyday. The only thing I feel its missing is a black. ( I feel every palette should have a black and bone/beige color.) I think this is going to be my favorite of her palettes this size. Soooo happy!

A hard NO..

Im so disappointed in this product. I adore the brand, use many of the hair products, but this is a fail. The smell is great, but not long lasting, and the packaging is lovely. The product itself is not moisturizing at all. This is not a luxe body cream. I read (after purchase) that the formula had been changed, perhaps that's it, because this doesn't moisturize as well as drug store lotion. So disappointed because I do love the scent.

Perfect Travel size!

This is what I've been waiting for!!! I think I own all of Sonia G.'s brushes and clearly love them. In my pre covid life I traveled extensively and honestly, packing her brushes were difficult, especially her first release with the wider red handles. Those handles are lovely, but too much for me, for travel. They Sky set with the tapered handles were better for travel. But this set is truly perfect for travel. I will undoubtedly still travel with more brushes in my kit lol, but this set certainly helps lighten the load. They are beautiful!

Not Quite... Misses the mark

I love ND and have most of her large palettes. With that being said Im disappointed with this one. For me, a NC42 it just doesnt work to justify the price. I find some of the mattes patchy, they just dont blend out well on me. Then they turn a bit grey-ish the more I blend, and the longevity on wear is not quite to her regular formula. The three special shades are very average IMO, and I feel you are limited in the looks you get out of this palette. Unfortunately, Im going to have to return this one.

Really Bad!

I cant add much more here because its been said in all of the previous reviews. This is not a good palette. Dry, poor texture and BIG glitter everywhere! MASSIVE glitter fall out. I was stunned to receive this (and several other terrible sub par products) in my lucky bag. I searched Beautylish's IG and found ONE single post by them on this product. ONE.... Beautylish posted abut this once, yet sent it out in mass in lucky bags? Terrible. I search everywhere for reviews etc on this palette and found very little...all by a very specific (drag queen, theatrical, dramatic look) audience. This was a very poor choice for a lucky bag given its poor quality...hence all the very poor reviews. Very disappointed. I really feel "taken" by beautylish this year as my entire lucky bag was just horrible. Very poorly curated .
