I just saw your post on my page. Sorry for the delay as I don't get alerts when someone posts anything there. :( Yes, you can most definitely use flaxseed pills to counter the hormonal acne. Just double check with your doc before proceeding. I just take two a day...one with breakfast and the second with dinner and I drink a lot of green tea and watet over the course of the day. I'm not a big fan of Paula's Choice but some folks have found success with her line. I don't know how long it's been since you ended your cancer treatment but I know when I stopped (my battle was stomach cancer) my skin was still ultra sensitive even six months later. So the product you mentioned might be a bit too much out the gate. I suggest looking into an enzyme peel. AmorePacific has one that is great. Its super gentle and I myself use it from time to time. Its a bit pricey but there is one much more affordable called 100% Percent Natural Pineapple Enzyme Peel and that can be purchased via Amazon and some health food stores carry it as well. It retails for about $20 bucks while AmorePacific is in the $60 range.

Hey hun I don't really use paula choice products you can ask Kitty the moderator but I do recommend trying fish oil pills or flaxseed and drinking a ton of lemon water daily it helps bring down acidity and inflammation in the skin.

Hi Amber

I saw your post here on Beautylish and although I don't have tips for acne, I wanted to say I'm here if you need to talk. It sounds like you are going through a lot. I don't want to pry or make you uncomfortable but just stop by my page if you need a friend :)

About Me

Hey everyone, I'm a 15 year old with a beginning passion for make-up. When I was 12 years old I was diagnosed with a cancerous tumour on my spine, which gradually paralysed me. I am now in a wheelchair and making the most of my life as it is.

Feel free to leave comments, and ask any questions you may have, about anything, including my illness, I really don't mind :-)
