Love this set! I use them everyday for everything. Pretty much every brush is represented and, since I'm a beginner, I love not having to search around to find the right brush bcuz it's right there. Soft on the skin, totally affordable and the cutest case ever. Love.
Electric...not so much
I walked past the display and the yellow polish jumped out at me. I purchased Electric and was so excited to get it on my nails. The application killed me! So bad. First coat was clumpy and streaky and seemed to dry before I could finish (but that could be bcuz there was a fan going nearby). The second coat fixed the streaks a little but I still was not impressed. I have gotten compliments but I'm not sold. I'm gonna try one more time to see if the first time was a fluke. Pretty long lasting though.
Ummmm...no.
Loved the concept and wanted so badly to love the product but it was waaaay to frosty for my skin and I sent it back the day after I received it. If you like frost you might like this.
Perfection
This is some great stuff. I used to be a die hard carmex fan and then I switched to burts bees but I realized that it wasn't really doing anything for the condition of my lips. My bottom lip was peeling badly. So after reading reviews for this product I ordered it and fell in love at first apply. It feels like silk, stays on forever and instantly starts healing the lip after the first application. So worth the buy.
I absolutely am in love w/this color (funny face). It's such a perfect mix of bright/dark hot pink and the fact that it's semi matte makes it more wearable. I don't think I would have purchased it if it was all shiny and garish looking. I have just test driven it around the house bcuz I haven't had an occasion to flaunt it yet but it is very long lasting. Can't wait to take it on the road!
Feels soooo good
I really love Mac lipsticks. They feel great going on and they last and last. The cost is not outrageous and I can see myself using it constantly. I switched to lip glosses many moons ago but Mac lipsticks have pulled me back over and I think I'll stay awhile. I ordered Ruby Woo (matte red, can't believe there's no swatch!)a while ago and wore it for the first time the other nite, it looked amazing and I got tons of compliments. Very va va va voom and the matte just makes it special(I'm wearing it in my profile pic). Perfect red for all skin tones. Love. I got Violetta in the mail today and it is an intense purpley, pinky, bluey color...not for the faint of heart. But it's gorgeous and feels so good on my lips. This is a purchase that won't give you buyers remorse. Buy, you will be happy you did.
I totally got this on a whim because it was marked down w/the orange tag at Walgreens. ha! Seriously, it was .67 cents. How could I resist? I bought one and loved it so I went back to the store and bought the last one on the shelf as well. It's great quality and I have been using it everyday for a beautiful all over warm, matte w/shimmer glow. Good stuff.
Switched from Carmex
I have been a devoted Carmex user for years but I recently switched to Burt's and I'm liking it so far. What I like about is that it doesn't have a sheen so I can wear it under my lipstick or gloss w/o it altering the look. Totally convenient to carry around and glides on like silk.

I wish I knew that before putting this on before bed. I ruined so many pillow cases and towels! So I'm not even sure how effectively it works because I only use it in the day. I'm going to get some white pillow cases and towels and try again. Boooo!
Nice coverage
I didn't give this product 4 stars because it seems to rub off on everything and that is so embarrassing. When I give someone a hug I have to make sure that my face is not touching their clothes. But it's a great coverage and looks amazing on my skin but kinda messy.
