My everyday bronzer!
Recently, I've started using BB cream. The typical thing about BB creams is that it tends to look a bit gray and too pale for my skin tone. Trust me, I am NOT a fan of the white cast mask face. My daily routine is to apply the BB cream all over my face, set with MAC mineralize skinfinish and then brush some NYC bronzer over some places to make my makeup look more seamless.
It is indeed a nice matte color and very buildable.
Love it!
I got this bb cream as a gift for my birthday!
My initial reaction to this was that it was very runny. However, when I applied it to my skin, it matched my skin beautifully and blended well. I am a MAC NC30. It also has a nice, clean scent. My routine is that I apply the bb cream with clean fingers and set with MAC mineralize skinfinish powder.
I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice bb cream.
Best concealers I've ever used.
I needed to upgrade my concealer from Benefit's Boi-ing to something a bit more heavy duty. I swatched myself perfectly at Sephora so I bought it. It covers well and has lasting power. It's not heavy or thick and doesn't crease or cake up. It didn't accentuate any flaws on my skin either. If I wanted to, I could use this as a foundation.
Definitely recommend this for someone looking for a good concealer.
Urban Decay's Primer Potion is a must have.
When I was in Vegas during their humid summer, I kept my eyeshadow looking fresh and nice by using UDPP as a base. I was also trying to use a pop of color in a concentrated area so I dabbed a bit of UDPP and then layered the colorful eyeshadow on top and it didn't budge until I removed it.
Recommended if you need your shadows to stay in place, need a good base, have oily lids.
I love this concealer! And it doesn't hurt that it matches my skin to the T.
The consistency is light so it doesn't feel heavy or thick but the coverage is medium to full. This concealer in Medium matches to my NC30 skin and helps cover my imperfections effortlessly. I don't mind the twisty top to get the product out either but it can be unhygienic because of the sponge applicator that you can't clean.
The shades for this concealer is also very limited.
Shine bright like a diamond
Earlier this year I went from virgin black hair to blonde highlights. The only product that dried my hair out like crazy was the John Frieda Sheer Blonde shampoo.
I turned to my friend and asked her what I should use to breathe life back into my straw-like hair. She told me to use Biosilk. And so I did. My hair slowly began to feel softer, didn't have any kicks when I ran my fingers through my hair and looked more healthy.
Recommend this to anyone that needs a little bit of shine and whole lot of soft!
No flakes!
When it comes to eyebrows, I have OCD. Eyebrows have to be perfect and in place.
Prior to using the Anastasia Brow Gel, I used just a clear mascara from Covergirl for my brows. Unfortunately, the clear Covergirl mascara gel began to flake after a couple of hours. Anastasia's brow gel doesn't flake and really stays in place.
I recommend this for anyone that has eyebrow OCD like do.
I love Photogenic from Lancome! Just one of my HG foundations.
Photogenic is a full coverage foundation and looks great on my skin. It also provides a nice smooth finish and I don't look like I'm wearing foundation at all. Almost like using a really good primer but you can skip that step with this foundation. Might I add that it photographs well!
I recommend this foundation for anyone that loves to take photos and is looking for a full coverage foundation.
My new HG setting powder! I didn't expect myself to like this powder that much but I really do! I thought that the powder was too light and translucent but it actually puts on really nice. It doesn't look cakey either! The finish is matte and looks like natural skin!
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good setting powder without a cakey look.
My HG eyebrow pencil. I bought this a couple years ago because I was looking for something to fill in my brows with and my friend recommended this. Ever since then, it was the only eyebrow pencil that I've purchased.
The pencil has two ends, one end used for filling in your brows and the other end is a spoolie for brushing your hairs in place and etc.
I definitely recommend this for anyone that is looking for a great eyebrow pencil with no fuss. It's easy to use and quick. The only thing I don't like about this pencil is when I sharpen it, the tip falls off easily which becomes a waste of product.
