Beauty Product Reviews
Best I've ever used
This product isn't available in Belgium but sometimes when you fly with certain airlines they offer certain products for sale. I bought a set of mini primer potions in different colors during one of these flights. I am in love with this product. I've never used a primer that works as well as this one! It even stops the NYX Jumbo Pencils from creasing and those ALWAYS crease on my lids. The colored once are nice if you want to add a little extra to your eyelook. My favorite is Greed. I'll be so sad when I run out of these.
Good for normal hair
I used this for a while when I was still a blond. Actualy this is the first Tigi product I ever used. Like everything form this brand it smells jummy :-) It didn't moisturize as well as I hoped it would but it's definatly lightweight. if you're looking for a light conditioner go for this. I'd recommend it for normal hair.
Covergirl Lashblast much?
I love this mascara. It gives good volume and is very black. However, for a drugstore mascara it is very expensive. I've seen it go for anything between 10 ( discounts and very rarely priced this cheap) and 16 euro's. For a lot less money you could buy the Covergirl mascara. It might be a good option for Blegium girls who have difficulties getting Covergirl. This brand is available at any Kruidvat. The one thing I will say is the fusion version of this ( lenght and volume blue tube) is way better than the covergirl lashblast fusion. The latter doesn't actually perform better than the regular Lashblast. The Max Factor fusion mascara does give more lenth than the regular false lash effect.
Smells great like everything from this brand
I bought this last summer to protect my hair from sundamage. It smells nice and works like a dream. You cen even use this on dry hair. It's not to heavy and won't make your hair look greasy ( at least not if used accordanly. Everyone knows not to put serum on the roots of your hair) Since dying my hair red I've knowticed this helps my color last longer. Uv protection so the sun won't fade the color.
Confession of a secret concealaholic
After hearing I'd passed a paper I worked hard on all year, I went out and bought this. Benefit has fast become one of my favorite (high-end) make-up brands. I love the look of the whole brand :-) It realy suits my personality. The priceq however are horrible. The fact that they come out with these kits is a godsgift. You get to try out different products and honestly these amounts will last you a while. I love the eye bright! This on top of the erase paste gets rid of my dark circles completly. I haven't tried the lemon aid long enough to give a good review of it. What I hate is the fact they don't give two colors of erase paste as well. I could have done without the primer, which just doesn't do it for me.
Glitter without being childish
I don't own the entire collection but I have the black cracking polish and Teenage Dream. Both of them are my most worn nailpolishes. I don't like combining TD with the cracking polish. I fiend it dulls the pink sparkle. TD is one of the fewglitterpolishes I've ever tried that actualy covers. It's also very wearable and not childish. It is difficult to remove but so are all glitterpolishes. The cracking polish gives an edgy effect that can be cute or rockerchique :-) Put it on top of a pastpolish and it looks like cut easter eggs. put it on top of a duochrome or ppurple polish and it looks edgy. I'm not bored with it yet!
LOVE!!!!
I am in love with these nailpolishes. Half of my collection consists of Catrice polishes. There are alot of different colors for a cheap drugstore brand, are very pigmented and don't apply streaky. They dry pretty fast and all that for under 3 euro! They also come out with dupes based on more expensivebrands. Iron Mermaiden ( the names, so cute) is a dupe for Not like the Movies ( OPi if I'm not mistaken) and the Devil Wears Red is a perfect dupe for Chanel's Rouge Noir.
Light but mighty
I've been using this for about 6 months now. I use it at night after a serum. At the Dermalogica counter my skin was analised: I have combination skin but my oily areas are dehydrated because of using agressieve products. This moisturizer hydrates without leaving my skin greasy. When I wake up in the morning my face feels wonderfull. The only downside it has is the price. I live in Belgium and here it retails for about 60 euros for 50 ml (1.7 FL OZ). It does last a long time but if you use it twice a day (like I did in winter) you'll run out fast.
Cheaper than max factor false lash but same effect
It gives a lot of volume but it doesn't make my lashes clump like some othervolumizing mascara's I've tried. It doesn't do much for the lenght of my lashes. I love how black it is. I've tried Max factor False Lash effect and the Cover Girl mascara gives the same effect. Max factor is more expensive so I would go for Cover Girl.
Love at first use ;-)
This is hands down the best blush for creating a natural look. It blends like a dream and realy gives you a kinda I-just-came-back-from-a-nice-day-out glow. I put this on with an angled blush brush. A little goes a long way and it has fantastic staying power. I can't wait to buy others.
