Beauty Product Reviews
Definitely would repurchase
I think I've gone through 3 pans of this in my whole makeup-wearing career. I dot know why I don't have one now. It's the perfect bronzey-flushed color with subtle gold shimmer. Looks very natural and healthy.
Neon peach
This looks great brushed on the apples of the cheeks and then BLENDED out like crazy. It's a very intense pigmentation. I anticipate that it will last me forever. Sweet, because it's limited edition if I'm not mistaken
So nice
There's a billion reviews/descriptions out there that do a much better job of describing this green, floral scent. I got it in the penhaligom scent library sample pack and it is by far the best women's fragrance. I will definitely e buying a bottle. I guarantee this is much different than anything you own and it's addictiveness rivals that of Chloe (which says a lot, in my opinion). You won't be able to stop sniffing yourself.
Cucumber aloe variety
I have this in the cucumber aloe variety but would consider getting the rose kind next (love floral scents). I experimented with dumping half the bottle in a sprayer and misting my face, then wiping with a cotton pad, as opposed to applying with the pad. It's very calming and refreshing and doesn't irritate raw skin like alcohol-containing witch hazels do.
Great if part of your job description includes "grinding your bare ass on denim." Ahem. I originally bought this to spritz on my butt after night to prevent rawness and pimples lol. But I ended up using it on my face too.
P.s., it goes without saying that the packaging is A+
Only shaving cream I will ever buy
If you want an all purpose shaving cream you can use on everything from your cooch to your under arms, this is it. It is truly fragrance free, making it safe for sensitive areas. Just make sure you use it on wet skin and massage it in thoroughly to get the maximum lather. It gets foamy enough to protect your skin adequately and prevent razor bumps (unlike the eos creams), but isn't quite as thick as traditional aerosol cream, so you can get a closer shave.
Whatever
Why are the "egg Chapsticks" still a thing? Not a fan of fruity flavors, and they don't fit into a small purse or narrow tote pocket. Great if you like modern-looking but functionless packaging, or if you have an oral fixation and need something to compulsively rub in a circular motion over your lips
Nice, but not as nice as the original
When the rumors about this palette were confirmed, I knew I had to have it. I love pink toned eye shadow looks. However, I did wait for it to come out at swohora, just in case it ended up being something totally different than I expected. I would recommend that anyone interested should do the same. As others said, the pigmentation is not as rich as the naked original, and the brush is not the best of the trio. (My sister says the 2 brush is by far the best but I don't own that one).
Anyways, I was hoping there'd be a more Barbie or fuschia color pink in the palette. The closest any color came to a true pink was Buzz - more of a metallic French lavender. I use it to contour with Strange as a base, or alone. Trick, the metallic rose gold shade, also looks nice when blended out over the lid by itself.
I was the most disappointed by Dust, which seems to be a poor attempt at recreating the awesomeness that is Sin. There's just too much fall out, and it goes on too powdery, making the skin look dry. I wouldn't have minded if this palette came with another pan of Sin - the one that came in my Naked original is empty and I'm halfway through a solo pan of it. Best. Brow highlighting color.
My only other qualm is that some of the colors are a bit too similar. For instance, liar, factory, and mugshot. Yes there are subtle differences but I would have preferred a more well defined variety.
Despite a few drawbacks, I use this palette in some capacity basically every time I do my makeup, so I can't give it any less than 4 stars. I do not regret buying it at all.
