Unique!

I've been wearing makeup for a *long* time now, and found that during the pandemic lockdowns, powder foundation was much more simple than liquid. My skin is getting less oily as I hit my mid-40s, though, and I was looking for something easy to apply but without the absolute flat matte of most powder foundations. I read about this Yummy Skin base in Allure and it sounded interesting. It's not like anything else I've used before; the finish in the compact is slightly creamy but not at all oily or greasy. I use a flat top brush to buff it over primer and I look "done" in a few seconds. My only issue is with the packaging - the screw-top lid is a bit inconvenient and it doesn't include a mirror - the spatula is a bit superfluous. A little goes a long way, and I think there's room for a slightly lighter 0.5 shade, but if you're a bit bored with liquid foundation, this is definitely one to try.

Take it off!

The perfect cleanser. My skin gets quite oily sometimes - this gets rid of all that, plus makeup, including mascara. (No more eye makeup remover purchases!) It's gentle but not too rich and rinses really clean. Love love.
