An upgrade from synthetic
I love a good candlestick brush for setting my undereye, and I had previously been using the Sigma F25 for this task. I was looking to upgrade my most used decade-old brushes to Japanese fude so decided to go for this as a replacement. It's super soft, gets nicely into the necessary crevices with setting powder and I don't think there has been any shedding at all. Squirrel is delicate, so I do make a point to make sure my concealer and foundation have fully dried and set before applying setting powder on top with this brush.
Super soft highlight brush
I have always preferred using a smaller brush to apply highlighter to the face, and this is perfect for the job. The highlighter applies beautifully whether you go in with a heavy or light application. Also, an accidental heavy application can be easily blended to a very natural looking glow without the product spreading all over your face (this is not the case for me with most brushes!) It's a versatile enough size that I can do a precise but blended application on my brow bone, temples, bridge of the nose, cheekbones and cupid's bow without having to be overly careful.
Great for lid colour
This brush is excellent for applying lid colour quickly and smoothly. I usually use matte eyeshadow and I prefer a soft blown-out effect, which this brush it great for on the lid. It can also be used for blending although it is not my favourite for this. The shape is very practical for my eyes and it always feels soft on the skin.
Lovely blending brush
This is an excellent blending brush, I use it for the crease, inner corner, blending the transition shade as well as to do a final blend on the entire eye. It's super soft and never feels prickly even if you spend a very long time working on one eye. Frankly, it is not the best brush for the crease for my eye shape as I prefer my crease colour to be a bit more blown out than what can easily be created with this brush (using the tip which I prefer to do). However, that does not take away from how good the brush is, as it is an excellent multitasker.
