Beauty Product Reviews
Horrible
I wanted to like this but it’s a big fail for me. The powder did not melt down in anything I tried it in and was like a microexfoliant every day that I did not want or need. It tore my face up; I stopped using it and will be sending it back for something different in a derivative because I’m afraid of the powders now.
Very misleading photos
Wow the shade in the photo is so not what I got. The shade I got is SO fair it doesn’t show up at all on me and I’m pale! The actual product itself isn’t bad I just can’t use it and feel like it should be more appropriately photographed!
LOVE LOVE LOVE
I got these (and the other 2 sets) for myself for Christmas and wow! They are incredible! I am so happy I finally treated myself after looking at them for years. They are beyond soft, my makeup looks flawless, it lays product exactly where you want it. I cannot saw enough good things about them, the 01 sheds a little here and there but I'm not too concerned. They clean up well, invest in brush guards and the benjabelle brush tree, and I cannot be happier. I will continue to purchase and use Wayne Goss brushes.
Amazing quality
I treated myself to all three sets for Christmas and I couldn't be happier. I thought this was going to be a set I used a ton but I mainly reach for brush #18 and #19. I still love them and think they're worth the money but I need to find a use for some of the other brushes. They have the amazing Wayne Goss quality and softness.
LOVE
I purchased all 3 Wayne Goss brush sets for myself for Christmas, I talked myself in and out of it 100 times but I am so happy I did! These brushes have replaced all of my other brushes and I will use them for the rest of my life. I love this set, I thought it was going to be my least used but it is my most used. They are beyond soft, no shedding (tiny bit on the white hair one), wash up great and my makeup has never looked better. So so happy I bought them
Meh
I was so excited to try these after hearing so much about them and hoping it would fix all my foundation problems. It was a huge disappointment! I was matched with the shade N20 from what I wear in MAC but I picked up N25 since I wanted it to slightly darken some lighter foundations I had. I've mixed it with my Nars sheer glow, my moisturizer, my coverfx primer, and even worn it alone since I keep seeing and hearing people loving it that way... I looked like casper the ghost had just ran through the sahara desert, it was so bad today that I had to wash my face and start over. It clings to my dry patches, made my pores look worse than they normally do and just looked so dry and pale. I don't know if my problem is color match or its not great for me but it's got to go back.
Still testing
I am still trying this out. I purchased on the recommendation of Trisha @ A Glittery Life and I don't dislike it, but I'm not totally sold yet. I have really oily eyelids so primer is a must for me. I've tried them all, too faced (not horrible but not my favorite), urban decay (hated it), sephora brand (one of my favorites), taste (another good one) and tons of others but the texture of this one is so different almost lotion like which made me nervous. I've only used it a few times (maybe 6 to be exact) and my eyeshadow has creased at least half of the time. This hasn't been a problem with the sephora it tarte brands only the others and now this one. I'm hoping it's just my imagination and I'll either figure out what I'm doing or it will end up working otherwise unfortunately this might have to go back because for the cost of it can't keep my shadow from creasing it's not the one for me. So if you've got any hints for me I'm all ears!
