Lifesaver for my chapped skin
I don't usually suffer from dry skin, so you can imagine my utter dismay when the wind picked up and the dry air left me with painful red patches of chapped skin around my nose. Slathering on Aquaphor at night would help, sure, but that's not something you want to walk out of the house with! I'd even get so desperate as to smear Chapstick on them when they got really bad on the go. ENTER HYDRABIO SÉRUM! From the first application, kid you not, my dry patches felt so much better, and with another application of the serum the next morning, I *finally* made it through the day without any cracking or flaking or painful redness. My daily moisturizer just wasn't cutting it to re-hydrate my skin and keep it that way; Hydrabio Sérum and all its thirst-quenching goodness is what's finally giving my dry patches a chance to heal. Knowing my skin is hydrated so that there won't be any new ones to vanquish is even better :)
Best natural alternative to luxury mascara
I've been searching for natural cosmetic products to replace synthetic ones in my possession, and I'm extremely pleased with the Kjaer Weis mascara. Definitely the best option that I've found.
Some positive things worth mentioning about the product:
-very high quality packaging and body construction -small size, luxury aesthetic -refillable -natural ingredients, of course -pure black pigment, not gray like other natural mascaras I own -easy to remove -non-irritating -no frills no fuss brush that actually helps coat lashes instead of just clumping up with dried product -with that said, product can be layered on without clumping and is buildable to high volume
My only negative with this mascara is that it does have a greater tendency to flake or break off after application, but I've had to deal with this when using synthetic mascaras plenty before. A quick swipe removes any fallout throughout the day.
Even at four and a half stars, this comes pretty close to mascara perfection in my book. Hard to beat, and I will definitely be buying a refill.
(unit specific: minor misalignment on the cap when overtightened, purely aesthetic, doesn't affect product seal)
