WORTH IT
I don't know if anyone has noticed but the colours this palette has are nearly identical to those from the Urban Decay Naked palette. If like me you're working from a student budget, this little gem will only set you back £4... The colours are so pigmented and suit any colour eyes or shade of skin. This is truly an amazing beauty find, I've already bought 5 to give to my friends as gifts :) I would recommend wearing a primer or sealant on the eyeshadow to make it last.
I can understand why people love it so much, but for me it's too citrus. The notes are too heavy even for a night out. I prefer florals, this was a gift and as always I was grateful for the thought, but I feel it's just too young for me, even at 18.
A CLASSIC
Creme Brulee creates a nice even tone on my lips without drying them out. I can wear it for 5 hours before I have to reapply or 7 if I use my Lipcote. I found it didn't work well with any lipgloss, but with the shine it gives, it doesn't really need it.
I adore this, as someone who suffers from eczema, the oil in this really helps to even out my skin. The tube is a bit small for the price (£7.99) but only a thin layer is needed to create a nice clear base. It also has 30 SPF in it, which saves me from using a separate face lotion under my make-up. I would however, recommend applying a concealer that isn't too liquid or oily because your blemishes may surface from under it. But I would recommend it to those with dry skin.
I think for the price you pay this is really good! I've only bought 3 shades, including the red and it was very pigmented and with a good quality base/top coat, stayed on for 5 days without a chip. My only problem is the shape of the handle that the brush is attached to. It's clunky and can make the application process more difficult, but once you have a good practice, then it's a great polish that I would recommend to friends and family.
