My favorite little guy!

This quickly became, and still is, my absolute favorite foundation brush to use which is unfortunate because now I have so many untouched brushes. The surface area is obviously much smaller than other brushes but I do like how much more control I feel I have. I also use it for undereye concealer and cream bronzer as well,for which the size is perfect (for me).

No bad, not great

I really vibe with the whole jstar cosmetics aesthetic, like if i was him, everything would be designed/arranged the exact same way. This palette is what ive always wanted in a 'neutral' palette. I love the color range, the packaging is beautiful, the mirror is nice and giant, and the shadows blend well. BUT the pigment is just not there for the dark shades i tried. Swallow needed a LOT of building which was disappointing since pan-wise thats my fave shade. So far the mattes have been serviceable + i like the glittery shades apply very smoothly.

the smell is DISGUSTING

my first jstar purchase. Transfers on everything but somehow stayed solid on my lips. The second it dried down it looked crumbly on my lips? The first time I opened this & took a big whiff I wanted to cry...what is that horrid smell I still can't place it. :( Luckily it disappears after application so i just hold my breath. Most.. unique experience I've ever had with a lippie. :/

Love this, BUT..

This CC cream probably has the most coverage of any cream I've ever used from the U.S. For me this is basically foundation - worthy, and looks so smooth on. HOWEVER, the consistency is crazy. A little goes a long way, but you'll want to set aside a couple minutes to fight this thing into spreading evenly.
