nice!
I got a sample of this a long time ago as a 100 point perk. I didn't really use it much, but one day my boyfriend really needed a moisturizer and it was the only thing I had with me. He LOVED it. Since he liked it so much, I thought I'd try it out too. It has a nice cooling, moisturizing feeling to it. Although the name seems like it would have some kind of shimmer or sparkle to it, it really doesn't. It just makes skin glow with dewy-ness not shimmer.
truly long lasting
I bought this during the CVS sale because I've been wanting to give these long lasting lipsticks a try, but I think they're a bit overpriced. This was actually pretty awesome. When you first apply it, it feels very sticky and uncomfortable, and you kind of have to keep your lips open so it dries properly. After it dries, your lips will feel very tight. You can definitely feel it sealing on to your lips. The balm it comes with is great, because without it this stuff would be SO drying. It's also a good way to prove that the lipstick really doesn't come off! It lasted for about 6-7 hours before I had to touch it up. It fades a bit on the inner part of the lips and at the corners, but you could honestly go the whole day without touching up and still look ok.
less creamy, more "wet"
I'm a big fan of cream foundations because they usually have great coverage, but are still moisturizing. This was not so great. It feels very wet when you touch it, and doesn't blend too well. It just kind of sits on skin. It's also quite thin and didn't cover much at all. When it dried, it felt tight and drying. Also, the compact it comes in is SO annoying. You have to unscrew it to get to the foundation, and then flip the top up to get the sponge out. It should be the other way around!
I don't know if it was just the colors that I have, or if all of them are like this, but these are EXTREMELY frosty. I'm not a huge fan of frosty lipsticks, so these are just not for me. The colors would be nice if they weren't so frost-licious. Besides that, they smell very synthetic and sweet. The smell of them makes me feel a bit nauseous when I open them, but it goes away quickly on the lips. I don't feel that they are very moisturizing, but I think that's because the ones I have a so frosty. I still have to wear a lip balm with these.
pretty good for the price
I was happy to get this while it was on sale at Target for about $4 because I wanted to try it, but $9 seemed steep for a drugstore product. It does a pretty good job. It applies easily and dries quickly enough that it doesn't spread all over your face, but not so fast that you can't smudge it out a bit. I did notice that it flaked a bit throughout the day, but it wasn't too horrible. I do prefer the Fluidlines because they don't flake on me, though.
glitter overkill
I remember buying this after seeing it in a magazine and thinking it looked really beautiful on the girl. That was the last time I ever did that! The texture of this blush is nice and soft, but it was FULL of glitter. The color wore off fairly quickly, so all I was left with was two very glittery cheeks. Horrible. I haven't tried the other colors, so I don't know if they're all like this, but I would definitely avoid this color!
worst mascara i've ever used
Ugh. This stuff was horrible. The formula was so wet and sticky, it made my lashes stick together and I ended up looking like I had 4 giant eyelashes sticking out of my eyes instead of a nice array of lashes. It was nothing like false lashes. When I finally managed to separate all of my lashes, it ended up smudging all over my eyes and down to my cheeks. Horrible! I'm glad I only spent $5 because it was a terrible product.
pretty good
This mascara would've been awesome if it wasn't so flaky! It smudged and flaked under my eyes after about an hour or two of wearing it. I liked how big the brush was, and the formula really thickened my lashes and added a lot of length. Too bad it didn't stay on my face for very long!
great daily blush
I love this blush, even though it is a bit on the frosty/shimmery side. Some people feel like it's more of a highlighter, but I think it's too pigmented and and the color is too deep for it to be used as a highlight. I love it as a blush. The color flatters my medium/olive skin tone and brightens my face. I like using this when I'm feeling tired to perk myself up a bit. It's also great on top of other blushes to add more of a frost. It also smells incredible! It's like cotton candy-ish, I don't know how to describe it. The scent does not stay on your face all day, so don't worry about that.
perfect as a base or on it's own
I love this because it's so versatile! I bought it in a dark coppery brown color, so it can be used as a shadow, base, or an eyeliner. As a shadow, it stays on all day without creasing whatsoever. As a base, it deepens the color on top of it while preventing creasing throughout the day. As a liner, it stays on my lash line without migrating all over the place. It doesn't last all day on the waterline, but I have yet to find anything that does. These are much smoother and creamier than MAC's paintpots, and I prefer these because of it. I feel like paintpots can get dry and tug on your eye when you apply them, but these don't. I've had this for about 5 months and it hasn't dried out in the least, even though I use it regularly. They also come in a great range of colors, so it's easy to find a color that'll work for you!
