Good brown bronzer.
I got this as a sample in order to compare it to NARS's Laguna bronzer, and I have to say, I like this one a little better. It's a true brown color, no oranginess whatsoever, with a light shimmer to it. It blends out easily, so you can't really overdo it (well you can, but you can also fix it quickly if you do). The reason I like this one better than Laguna is because I think it's slightly more pigmented. Sometimes I can't even tell that I used bronzer when I use Laguna, this one always shows up.
Best lipstain ever!
I was never a big fan of lipstains because they tend to make my lips feel dry or apply unevenly. These are nothing like that, but rather a very tinted lip balm. The color goes on fairly opaque and glossy. The gloss does fade rather quickly, but the color remains for several hours. These are super moisturizing, even more so than some of my lip balms. Even after these fade away, my lips feel smooth. They have a slight minty scent to them, and tingle a little bit when applied, which I like.
A good dupe for the UD 24/7 pencils.
I'm not a huge fan of drugstore products. They just seem to disappoint me a lot (especially mascaras!), but I was pleasantly surprised by this pencil. I was in a pinch and needed an eyeliner ASAP so I grabbed this one. It's super soft and creamy, which was a nice break from the harder drugstore pencils I have. This didn't smudge too much around my eyes, and lasted for a pretty long time (about 4 hours). For the price, it's pretty awesome, but I'll be sticking with my UD pencils for life!
Smells nice, but it's super drying.
I loved how this smelled! It really smells like a yummy pink grapefruit. However, this scrub was SUPER drying, and my skin is pretty oily in some spots. It dried everything up wayyyyy too much. The cream cleanser from this line is much better! Not drying, but leaves my skin feeling clean!
This was the first foundation I ever purchased, and I loved it then. I didn't really have acne or blemishes at all (lucky me!), so I did not need any coverage. I honestly don't know why I even bought foundation... Anyway, back when my skin was perfect, I liked this. However, teen years caught up with me and I started breaking out a bit here and there (not from the foundation, I had stopped using it well before the breakouts began). I started using the foundation again to cover it up, but found that it really did not cover at all! It feels nice on my skin, but I really needed more coverage.
First off, I don't understand how this brand can have a trillion red and light pink colors. If you're in the market for something in those two colors, you're in luck. Second, the colors I do own are very thin and watery, and not opaque no matter how many coats I apply. It's so frustrating! Maybe I'm just getting bad ones.
You get what you pay for.
Yeah, it comes with 88 different colors. Yeah, it's only about $20. Those are really the only things this has going for it. The color pay off is decent, but not consistent with all of the shadows. The worst part is the smell! Oye it smells terrible like really really cheap makeup that's been rotting. I don't know how to describe it, but I hate it.
Nothing changed...
I got a pretty generous sample of this from Sephora for no particular reason and I was really excited to use it. I had heard great things about this, and I thought it would help cut down on the occasional breakout/blemish that I get. I was wrong. It didn't change anything after I used it for a month. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't super great. I did like that it didn't dry out my skin at all. A lot of gel cleansers do that to my skin, but this kept it pretty balanced.
I get why people loves these, but...
These are pretty nice brushes, especially for the price. However, they are nowhere near flawless. One of mine broke completely, two of them constantly bleed dye when I was them, and a few of them are not very functional. One of the eye brushes is absolutely massive and isn't really practical for applying eyeshadow. The pencil brush is not really a pencil shape, and does a much better job as a small crease brush. The other brushes are ok, but they do shed a bit and some of the bristles don't hold their shape.
