Good coverage.
The corrector part (on the right side of the pot) is fantastic. It totally hides my dark circles without looking cakey or creasing in the lines underneath my eyes. I use this basically everyday and a little goes a long way.
The concealer part (camouflage) is very dry and thick. I had a really hard time just getting this on a brush and then getting it from the brush to my face without it caking up. Lucky for me I don't really have blemishes on my face to cover up anyway, so I don't need to use this.
The powder underneath is awesome too. I use it to set my makeup everyday and it gives a really nice natural finish. It isn't mattifying, but it does keep my face from looking super oily for a while.
Kind or orange...
Like most bronzers, this looks a little orange on my skin. The formula is nice, though. It's smooth and blends into skin easily with a brush or fingers. I'm not sure if it's waterproof as I've never gone swimming in it, but it is long lasting for sure. The thing I like least about it is the smell. It has an odd botanical smell that makes me feel a little sick at first, but it fades away when you put it on anyway.
Laguna is certainly the brownest (rather than orange) bronzer I have, but it just doesn't seem to be dark enough for me. I always feel like I need to really load it onto my brush to get it to show up on my face. I love the color, though, so I won't stop trying to make it work!
Not the greatest...
I wanted to get a mascara from Dior, but the counter was surprising sold out of all the black ones. The sales associate recommended I try this one from Lancome. I'm not a huge fan of it. The formula is too wet and heavy for me (I like dry mascaras) and the brush is a weird shape. I find that I have to take a ton of excess mascara off the brush just so it won't go on super clumpy, but even then it makes my lashes stick together way too much.
Gorgeous colors.
I bought this because I LOVE the colors in it, but I'm not very experienced with pigments or loose eyeshadows. I told myself I could figure it out, but... I don't think it's happening for me. These have such an odd texture, they don't really stick to the brush unless you really shove it in and smush the product into it, but then they don't apply smoothly or evenly to the eye. I had the best luck smearing these with my finger. It's hard to get just the right amount on too, and if you get too much it will crease like crazy. I think I'm going to go into a MAC store and ask them to show me how to use these because I'm just not getting it!
Creaselicious.
I bought two of these because everyone loves them, but I just can't get them to work for me! When applied alone, they're a complete disaster. They'll end up in the crease of your eye in a hot second. With a primer underneath, it'll last about 30 minutes longer, but still creases. With a primer under AND an eyeshadow on top, they last for about 2 hours. No matter what I do, I can't get them to work. It doesn't seem to matter how much product I put on or what I use to apply it, it just fails.
Best eyeliners I've ever tried.
I am SO glad I got my hands on this set. 15 eyeliners that are normally $18 each for $92 is an incredible deal! These liners don't smudge or run during the day, even when it's hot or I'm sweating. I love that I can actually put them on my waterline and see them there 4 hours later. It's too bad this wasn't a permanent thing. Such amazing eyeliners for such a great price.
Pretty glitters.
I love glitter liners for going out a night, but these were not the best I've tried. The brush frays quickly and becomes almost unusable. I've also noticed that the glitter tends to fallout and end up around my face after a few hours. On the bright side, these come in a lot of great colors AND they're super inexpensive, especially if you get them during a NYX sale at Ulta.
Interesting idea, but not the best.
I bought two of these during the infamous NYX $1.20 sale and although I do like the colors (Georgia Peach and Menage a Tois), the way these are packaged is quite annoying. I thought the grinding mechanism was pretty cool, until I actually tried it. You have to twist it very, very slowly to make sure you only get an tiny amount of product, and even then you will likely get too much. I feel like I'm wasting so much product each time because it just seems to get everywhere. I do, however, really like the colors. Menage a Tois is my favorite because it is a bright coral with gold shimmer. Georgia Peach is more pink than peach with a matte finish. Both blushes work well, it's just the packaging that fails.
