lovely!
I own one of these (in Daphne) and a palette that came with the NARS fanatic set from Sephora. I don't have any issues with these shadows! Well that's not entirely true, Daphne is really difficult to swatch. It comes out splotchy and weird, BUT when applied with a brush, it smooths out and looks beautiful. The palette came with 5 of the powder shades and a cream shades (don't remember the names, sorry) one was matte, two were glittery, and two where satin. The glitter ones were a tad hard to work with, and had a little bit of fallout, but besides that they were lovely. The colors were beautiful and easy to blend and use together. I would totally recommend these shadows!
nice brown bronzer
I have a deluxe sample size of this (the size of one of their eyeshadows), and I really do like it. It isn't orange like many bronzers tend to be on my olive/tan skin. The only issue I have with it is that it's probably too light for me, as it does not really show up very well unless I really pack it on. I do like that it isn't crazy shimmery or sparkly. It is not matte, but it also isn't a glitter festival, which is nice if you're trying to contour or go for a more natural bronze look.
gorgeous, but sheer
I got this as part of the NARS fanatic set that Sephora put out around the holidays. I really love the color in the stick, but on skin it's a very sheer shimmer highlight. Even though it's sheer, it still looks gorgeous underneath a blush or as a highlight, and it is really beautiful on lips! I love layering this underneath different glosses. The shimmer in it is really flattering and pretty!
so perfectly pretty
Orgasm is by far NARS's most popular and well known blush, and it has earned it's popularity for a reason. It is really, really beautiful. It's the perfect mix of pink, coral, and peach with golden shimmer. This is my go-to everyday blush. Whenever I don't feel like putting on makeup, I throw this on with some mascara and call it a day.
Nice coverage
This was suggested to me while I was having my makeup done at an Urban Decay counter. I was really impressed with how well it matched my skin because I sometimes have a hard time finding colors that aren't too yellow or too beige. This is super creamy smooth in the pan and blends really easily into the skin. It does have a powder finish, so a setting powder is not necessary (and might make your skin look dry and powdery). It has medium coverage, which can be built up, but be careful... too much of it will look cakey. I actually liked the brush that it came with, but I also use a 187 or a regular foundation brush to apply it.
I got this with the 15th anniversary eyeliner set. It's fabulous! I had one of the Sephora brand sharpeners, which was great for harder pencils, but it didn't sharpen my softer ones very well. This one does a great job with the Urban Decay pencils and other soft eye pencils (like the Milani liqiuf'eye pencils). It's a great sharpener for sure.
gorgeous colors
I waited until the last minute to get this (I literally picked up the last one at the Macy's counter), and I am sooooo glad that I got it! First of all, Urban Decay's palettes are such a great deal. You get a lot of bang for your buck with them. I love the pop-up part at the top too, even though I don't often open it up to look at it! The fact that it lights up is just so awesome to me. Anyway, it comes with a great range of colors: there are some neutrals, some super brights, and a matte black. All of them are shimmery except for the black, which is fine with me. The only one I really have an issue with is Maui Wowie, which has fallout galore if you don't put it on the right way (pat it on and slowly build up intensity). The colors can easily be used together, too, so you don't have to really worry about your look being "mismatched," unless of course you go all crazy and mix weird colors on your eye...
super smooth
This is the first single eyeshadow I purchased, and although the color is a bit "out there" it is still one of my favorites. The formulation of these deluxe shadows is incredible! They are super smooth and buttery, and the shimmer in them really does not cause fallout at all. The color payoff is incredible too! Although they seem a little pricey at $18 each, they come with a lot of product, so it's really worth the money. I definitely will be purchasing the more neutral colors so I can use them more often!
a miracle!
I wasn't too sure about this product because it was so hyped up, but I eventually caved in and bought it a few months ago. I have fairly oily lids, and most eyeshadows crease on me after maybe 3 hours of wear. This stopped that completely. Not only do my shadows last past that 3 hour mark, they last all day long! I hadn't tried a whole lot of other things, so I don't know if this is really the best product for eyelid priming, but it works perfectly for me, so I probably won't be trying anything else!
Great for the price!
I own 2 of these, but Honey Comb is my favorite. These are really inexpensive (about $5 depending on where you buy it), and come with a lot of product. The shadows are smooth, blendable, and pigmented. I didn't have problems with fallout with any of the sets I got, but the ones I have are pretty shimmer-free.
