pretty in the pan!

I love looking at these in the pan for sure, on the eye they don't all translate as beautifully. I have almost all of them, and they all look fairly similar (either black with shimmer, or brown with shimmer). The lasting power is decent and the pigmentation is good, though.

A bit orange

I've had this for a long time, but I rarely use it as it's a little bit orange on my light olive skin. I like the texture of the formula and it lasts fairly well, the color is just a little bit off for my skin tone.

I've been going back and forth on whether or not I really like this foundation. I think my biggest problem with it is the fact that the color is wrong for my skin. When I first apply it, it blends in just fine, but by the end of the day I look much paler than usual. This is really odd to me because most foundations darken throughout the day, but this one makes me super pasty pale. It is definitely long wearing, but when it dries down on my skin I can feel it sort of "shrinking". It feels a bit tight on my face, but it isn't really uncomfortable. I think I would like this a lot better if it didn't get lighter throughout the day, so I may try it several shades darker and see how it goes.

These brushes are amazing for cream and liquid products. I use the F80 for my liquid foundations and it blends them into my skin perfectly. I've never seen my foundation look so natural! The F82 is perfect for my cream blushes, and the F84 is what I use for my liquid bronzer and sometimes for cream blush. All of these brushes are amazing!

Strange Potion is my current favorite lipgloss! It's such a pretty pinky coral with just the right amount of shimmer. The stickiness of this gloss is hard to get past, but if you can put up with a sticky gloss, then the color is certainly worth it!

I like MAC lipsticks because they are acessable. You can find them at counters, in stores, online, and around the world. For a high end brand, these are pretty inexpensive which means I can buy even more! I've only recently gotten into MAC products, and I do really like their lipsticks, but only certain formulas. I've found that they can be a little drying in some cases, so I lean toward the luster and creamsheen formulas for moisture. The color range is incredible, of course. You really can't go wrong with a MAC lipstick.

I also got Hibiscus and LOVE IT! It is the perfect red for summer because it leans more coral than true red. It brightens up my whole face and really accentuates my tan. It is definitely pigmented, which is great because it lats for a long time. The downside is that the formula isn't particularly moisturizing, so I have to apply a balm over this throughout the day.

This is heavily scented, so keep that in mind if you're not into scented products. I really like this lipstick. It is very moisturizing and very pigmented. I've found it lasts slightly longer than the average lipstick on my lips. I have this in Rose Stiletto which is a darkish rose pink. The swatch on the Sephora website is VERY different than the actual color, but I like the color anyway. It's slightly darker than my lips and looks great underneath lipstick. These colors have a cream finish, so no shimmer, but they aren't matte either.

I really did not like this lipgloss. It smelled weird to me and it didn't at all feel smooth on my lips. It's a little bit sticky, but it doesn't last very long at all. I think the shimmer in it is what made it feel so gritty, but it was just uncomfortable to wear. It also dried out my lips and made them peel like crazy!

This is one of the products that you always see in line at Sephora and I finally just gave in and bought it. I LOVE IT. It doesn't really smell like strawberry, and it certainly doesn't taste like it, but it is SUPER moisturizing without being greasy. It lasts for a while on my lips and when it does wear off my lips still feel soft and moisturized. The pan is huge and you get a lot of product, so this will last for a very long time.
