Do you have any liquid foundation recommendations? Or have you heard about the indie lee oil, would that be good to use underneath?

I've had a sample of that in the past, and I always used it at night. Personally, it worked great, but not great enough for me to pay the full price. I wouldn't however, use it under foundation, as foundation tends to slide around on top of oils. Try Ponds Dry Skin cream (and yes it smells like something your grandmother would use, but it's a miracle worker) and let it sit for a min or two before you start applying foundation. Or, use smashboxes hydrating primer, it's amazing. For liquid foundations, my 3 favorite high end ones are- MUFE HD (about $42), Urban Decays Naked Skin (about $39, this is my total fav) and DiorSkin Nude ($49). MUFE and Dior's are hydrating foundations, while the UD Naked Skin is a little drying and you can't get away without wearing moisturizer and primer underneath it. For drugstore brands, I really like the Revlon Colorstay in the normal to dry skin formula, the Loreal Tru'Match, and the TruMatch Lumi by Loreal. For all foundation application, I would highly recommend purchasing a Beauty Blender. If the original is too expense, get the Real Techniques or the Earth Therapeutics dupes. They're much cheaper, and equally awesome. I personally never set with any powders, I just let it air dry (or you can use a fan) before touching my face too much. If you feel the need, you can set in your Tzone with a powder. Hope this helps you, update me if you try any of these products and tell me if they work for you! For the high end foundations, if you go into Sephora and ask for samples of the three I listed, they'll give you samples in tiny tiny containers.

About Me

Hi there! I'm 16 years old, and I've had an interest in makeup since I was about 10. I know I'm a little young, but I'm glad to help anyone out and am always open to new opinions/suggestions! I'm gearing up towards MUFE's Training Academy in NYC, and hopefully I can get in and gain a career from that! Right now, I help coach a competitive gymnastics team. I've done alot of sports in the past, especially different forms of dance, and if you have any questions about sports hair and makeup, I'm very willing to help! Currently, I'm on a swim team that practices everyday, so if you have any questions about waterproof makeup, I know quite a bit about it! :) I'm not a professional, but I have done makeup for parties, weddings, plays, and short films- so I have some practical experience besides on myself.
