Better than I expected...

and my expectations were high. The color for me is perfect for my cheeks, lips, and a monocramatic look by putting lightly on my eyelids. (I had previously purchased a pink and brown to mix but realized I wanted to buy this one to make my life easier and travel bag lighter.)

Sooo happy I bought this. I only recently found Danessa Myricks products and have fell in love because they do actually look like my skin had the color I am using.

I am 51 years old and started underpainting so that my lack of great eyesight is less evident in my impatience with blending. With this product, nutcracker as a contour, and either the tint or foundation over it - people are giving me compliments of looking well rested and healthy. YAY!

Been using everyday I've had it, so far, and don't see a need to stop.

Not using it

I was excited since I’ve tested Jeffrey’s shadows in the past. But- not grabbing for it. Seems strange to me because I’m a neutral lover. But- seems as though my Viseart, Kevin Aucion, Makeup Geek, and others are drawing me in more. Wish I could easily take out of container to make into smaller palettes. :-(

Couldn't be happier!

This color is perfect for me. My lips but moisturized. It surprises me that my lips are as pigmented as they are... but seems to be the case. I lined lips, after I put the gloss on I then used the lip liner in vintage pink. I am at home watching movies excited to see the wear time. Couldn't be happier with this gloss.

Best makeup remover!

This is the BEST makeup remover I've ever tried - when done I take a cotton pad and there is no color left!

Never realized how important great brushes can be!

Full disclosure - this is the most expensive makeup brush set I've ever purchased. I have a few brushes in my collection, from 20 years ago - that are top of the line... and can't figure out why I didn't stick with that quality. But... I watch Wayne and decided to buy his set solely because he has taught me so much through his YouTube videos that I wanted to pay him back. OMG - what a GREAT payback! These helped improve my makeup game like nothing else. I can now worth with great quality products soooo much easier, and not so good quality - work! Amazing. (Yes, amazing is sometimes overused, but these are worth every penny. The way they allow you to work with all different kinds of products changes the way you do makeup. I wish the foundation brush was larger - but in time, he's added that to his collection.) Perfect starter no matter where you are in your makeup life.

Happy with this purchase

Okay - so I don't use all the time, even though I'm finding that I've been pulling it out more recently. It's the summertime and I tend to go for cream in the summer - who am I kidding, the winter too since my skin is dry and cream seems to work the best. I can't explain it. I really like it... but will be shocked if I hit pan. (Is that appropriate to say since it's in a plastic container.) I LOVE the options and use for both cheeks and lips. I think Black H's review of them being oil based makes blending a dream (which is one my goals with blush.) So there you have it. I'd buy it again - and wonder why I don't use it more often.

Can't seem to find the difference

I can't seem to find the difference between this spooly and one that comes for free with my eyebrow pencils, gels, etc. And, the brush part seems almost exactly like my Bobbi Brown one that I've had for 20 years, that I was trying to replace. (Replace because I figured after 20 years... it's about time, don't you think??) I haven't thought, until writing this review of returning it, but maybe I should? I do like that it's all in one.... but that might not be worth the cost. The item is good - that's why I gave it 3 stars - but $18 good versus Elf good, not seeing a real difference. :-(

Huge Difference!

Okay - I thought... how could this be different?.. but I listened to Wayne's description of the brush, and know from his first set that what he says is real... so It bought it. OMG - I DO actually use it to put on mascara! And, I love the bristles for my eyebrows. I can't believe how much I like this brush. I used to be an only spooly girl, no longer. I'm kind of blown away by how much I like it - wtf? it's a brush. But's it does the job like not other!
