Must -have set for a collector. Finally a beautiful collection of cruelty-free brushes (synthetic bristles) that is not only perfect for display, but bristles apply like a dream. The color and adorable cat and music note detailing make this truly special. Nothing in my collection is like this set and the bristle shapes are well thought out. I would love more options like this with synthetic bristles.
So hydrating! Fully saturated color and high shine!
I received three colors of this gloss as a gift (Cookie Dough Fetish, Wifey & Please Forgive Me). I will say that I think these are more of a high-shine liquid lipstick rather than a gloss. The color is full on pigment that coats the lips beautifully. For me the high points here are: color selection, packaging, applicator, hydrating formula.
I am a big fan of JSC’s The Gloss and Velour Liquid Lipsticks. This product is sort of a combo of the two with a fun sweet scent that is only noticed upon application.
The price point is spot on given the product quality and unique fun vibe. Looking forward to trying even more colors!
Best matte formula available!
I absolutely love the JSC eyeshadow formula. This palette is no exception. If you are a working makeup artist this is a great palette to own. This collection of matte eyeshadows offers a highlight, transition, contour and liner color for just about everyone. The powder is smooth and buttery and blends with little effort. If you want the matte nude palette that beats them all, this one is very worth the money.
Nice peachy beige lipstick - creamy formula
This lipstick applies beautifully and feels very comfortable on the lips. I have been loving peachy toned lipsticks lately and wanted to try something new. I do think the price point is a bit high given that there are other brands with formulas that are just as good at a more affordable price. That being said, I feel like brands have been pushing matte formulas or straight up lip gloss so it is nice to have more of a cream formula that provides color and sheen to the lips. There is something about a good old fashioned cream lipstick that feels very luxurious. Overall I am happy with my purchase. If you want to support Wayne, the quality is there to justify buying these if your budget allows.
Worth it just for the brushes
The powder is just OK in my opinion. I bought this set because of the brushes and I am glad I did. The foundation brush has changed makeup application for me. I now own 3 brushes from this brand and love them all. The cruelty-free soft bristles glide along the skin. The fan brush is great for sweeping away powder, applying bronzer or highlighter. The handles are short (as expected), but the quality of these brushes is something special.
Perfect everyday palette
At first glance this palette may not look like much. However, I must admit the quality is amazing. The shadows blend with ease and these colors can easily take you from day to night. The palette is a little bigger than I anticipated, but still perfect for packing in my purse.
The reason I am giving this 5 stars is because of the quality of the shadows. Each performs perfectly and they require minimal work to get a blended cohesive look. I am approaching 40 years old and at this point only want quality products that don’t require a ton of work. Great first palette from Wayne Goss!
My 4th repurchase of this powder
I have tried countless pressed powders over the years, but this is my holy grail. I constantly finish compacts and repurchase this product regularly because it is the best I have found. The powder is so finely milled making it ideal for those over the age of 35 (like me).
I even use the darkest shade as a bronzer (it works for very fair skin). My only wish is that there was an option for a larger size. If CT offered this powder in the same size as her bronzer, I would buy it in a heartbeat.
This is a great finishing powder that I apply as the final step in my makeup routine. The sleek sophisticated looking palette makes it easy to take with me for touch ups. The golden compact also looks stunning on my vanity table.
I don’t see how the powder could be improved as it is already perfection in a compact. I just wish there was more of it, and room for a mini sponge or brush would be helpful for taking it on the go.
My skin is extremely dry so I am very cautious about the powders I use. Not only does this leave a smooth flawless appearance to my skin, it also feels incredibly weightless. I will continue to repurchase this product as long as it is available.
Perfect for lower lash line
This is the second 27s brush I own from Wayne Goss. I purchased the synthetic when it launched and have been dying to purchase extras of the eye brushes. The blending brush is always out of stock, but I had to pick up a backup of this pencil brush. The bristles are so soft, and I love the soft domed tip on this brush. I find it most useful for applying and blending color along the lower lash line, but it is also great for inner corner highlight.
Although the bristles are white, I still find this brush very easy to clean. The design is sleek and sophisticated, and the size is perfect for my everyday makeup routine. With proper care, these brushes stay in perfect condition and are clearly well made.
What makes this unique to others like it is the fullness of the brush head. Wayne Goss makes quality brushes and has upped the game in synthetics. I truly hope he expands the synthetic range, especially adding more eye brushes.
If you are someone who only likes animal hair brushes, give the Wayne Goss synthetic brushes a try. I really think this like is a shining example of what synthetic bristled brushes should be. Worth every penny in my book.
Great companion to the Jishaku 1
This is a smaller version of the Rae Morris Jishaku 1 brush. I find it to be very multipurpose. I now use this brush daily for makeup application because it does a phenomenal job applying and blending product.
The magnetic base allows me to stand this up on a stainless steel palette which makes a cute display.
I removed one star because of the extremely short handle length (shorter than many of my travel brushes). If you don’t mind short handles you will love everything about this brush. I also find it easy to clean despite the white bristles.
The shape of the brush head makes makeup application feel like a day at the spa. Something about the softness and shape of the bristles makes my daily routine a bit more relaxing.
