No not in my experiance...I have an electric file and tbh I dnt like using it! I stick to a normal nail file with a good grit, a 180 / 240 file is fine. yeah careful application is one of the hardest things but trust me after enough practise you figure out what works best, I used to struggle creating a neat line close to the cuticle but it becomes second nature.
are you elevating the finger so as not letting acrylic seep back into the cuticle?

I'm sorry I didn't get bak to the post I made about the acrylic lifting..so thanks for the tips. I prolly am applying the acrylic too close to the skin.I use nippers.but I hav another question if you do not mind answering.I don't have an electric file.I use a regular file.do you thing that also causes lifting?
