worse highlight i own

honestly, this is the worst highlight I own. I purchased this on the first launch of the many mua and JSC collection, just never got around to reviewing it. It is very gritty when you swatch it, it feels like sand, and does not resemble a highlight at all. It's more like an eyeshadow; and not a pretty one. it is just chunky glitter and when you put it on your face it pretty much doesn't show up, but it does emphasize the crap out of your pores. I tried layering it several times with a dense brush, a fan brush, natural hair brush - you name it - and it just does not give your face any type of glow. I just ended up with patchy thick glitter on my face I have not tried any other skin frost other than this shade so I can't compare it to his regular formula but after trying this shade I'm not sure if I want to spend so much money on a highlight I won't use. I only kept it because the compact is beautiful and I love to use the mirror in it, so I think I'm going to throw away the actual highlight in it to avoid the mess.

dissapointing

I really tried to love this palette, especially considering the price tag. This was an anniversary gift I received after mentioning how much i wanted it to my boyfriend. I have been testing this palette for months and it is lackluster at the mostMy favorite part of this palette is the glittery shimmer but even that shade is troublesome. the mattes are incredibly dull; they aren't that pigmented and require ALOT of building to get decent pigmentation and even then I still do not like the way they blend. I've used them with concealer as a base, different lid primers and setting my lid and not setting it and each time I get the same results. the shimmers are beautiful but must be used with an adhesive or they will not stick to your lid. for the price tag of these eyeshadows, I really expected this to blow my mind but I really dislike this palette. if 50$ and 10$ palettes have better performance than this palette, I cannot justify the price tag.
