Beauty Product Reviews
Work friendly
Where I work, we're not allowed to wear very bright and noticeable nail polishes, so I'm constantly looking for a color that I can wear that still feels fancy, and yet meets the guidelines. What I love about Creme Brulee is that it's very subtle but still has enough bling to make me happy on weekends. Before heading to work, I add a matte to make it less flashy.
I use this daily
I often play up my cheeks and I find that I pick "Living Doll" as my first choice for blush.I also always use it with the Hard Candy primer, which happens to be favorite primer. I use a angled blush brush, to apply to my apples, and the bridge of my nose. It depends on how much other make-up I use, but sometimes I put it on just my apples in a circular motion brushing upwards, and add some to my eyelids if I'm in a hurry.
Suddenly a fan of lipstick
After receiving a four colored sample of this lipstick, I am no convinced I should purchase a full size of Palpitante, the perfect raspberry red for my complexion. I also really like Pirate and Passion, but I fell in love a slightly bit more with Palpitante. I hardly ever wear lipstick, but what I like about this one, is that it hardly comes off, even when I'm drinking wine. I just lick my lips before sips and there is no mark on the glass. I do also like the fact that it's Chanel brand. There is something alluring about the story behind Coco Chanel.
Neutrals, easy on the go.
I wanted to buy something I could really benefit from with my Sephora gift card. This contains 9 shades, all of which looks really fantastic on my eyelids. I like the palette packaging, which easily transports in my bag. And for a quick look I use one shade directly above my pupils for when I'm in a hurry. Easily adds a pop of color and glimmer, which is what I like for a work/daytime environment. I would probably buy this product again.
