NARS setting powder is one unique powder. I say that because if you apply too much it can result in not so great outcomes. If you see product on your brush that means you applied too much. I've tried various tools to get the best outcome and I found that using a clean velour powder puff to tap on skin and then blend out with either a fan brush or my Cargo Magic brush to lightly dab product into my skin to work best. Whatever you do make sure that whatever tool you use is clean before dipping into the pan because if not oils will transfer into rendering it completely useless. I bought this powder when it first came out and was not happy due to overapplying too much powder and not using the right tools. Oh also...this is slight film on top of the pan. Use the sponge that came with the compact to remove that film or a clean paper towel with a bumpy surface. In natural sunlight you will see a slight shimmer once that film has been removed.
