Beauty Product Reviews
The only one that works for me
I have been searching for an eye cream that actually gives me results for quite some time. I have natural dark circles that are hereditary. I know they won't go away without filler/any medical intervention but I was hoping to find something to help temporarily plump up the area and tone down the darkness. I've tried quite a few eye creams that use caffeine and I never saw results or if I did they wouldn't last long. I started using products with CBD on my body to help with pain. They worked well and I thought why not use an eye cream with CBD. I took the plunge and I am glad I did. This has been so helpful. It helps soften the area and help with plumping without it being sensitizing. I have severely sensitive skin and I had no harsh reaction. It is pricey but my original jar lasted almost 7 months with daily and sometimes nightly use. It did tingle a bit at first but my skin didn't turn red or swell. If CBD works for you, I highly recommend this. The initial price is jarring but it ended up being just around $6/month for eye cream and you don't need a lot. It is worth it and I will not switch to another eye cream.
For soft and diffused looks
I bought these recently (the last sale) with a $20 credit. These are SO SOFT and glide across the face. I could just brush my face with them all day. I've been using them since I got them and these are for soft, diffused makeup. I do not recommend these for something that is hard pressed, baked gelee or similar. The bristles won't pick those up well BUT that doesn't mean they aren't good. You just need to know how to use them and with what type of products. The 209 brush blends out everything beautifully for foundation and the 206 has been the best for soft bronzer. It acts almost like my stipple brush that I use for bronzer. The eye brushes are flimsy but it's not bad. Powders blend effortlessly it just may take a bit of building which I don't mind. These are definitely worth it. Everything looks so skin like and smooth
A nice intro to Sonia G
These are my first Sonia G brushes. I used 4 of the 5 today and THEYRE SO SOFT HOLY SCHNEIKES. The eye brushes even though small and with small handles were great to use and I got a full look with them. The face brushes are where I feel a little deceived. They're very small. Like deceptively small. The classic face brush is SO SOFT but is only good for small specific powder application. I used it for finishing powder. It worked beautifully. I wish the face brushes were bigger, even just slightly. And also, the photos need to depict their size and I do not think they do that well. I do know I'll be getting more of her brushes but I do hope moving forward, the size of the brushes can be accurately shown.
